【摘要】：大航海時(shí)代的開啟讓歐洲君主的視野由陸地面向海洋,而在整個(gè)擴(kuò)張過程中,法國(guó)作為在西、葡、荷之后崛起的歐洲新勢(shì)力,從17世紀(jì)逐步向亞洲滲透,并希望取而代之。法國(guó)抓住暹羅主動(dòng)示好的機(jī)會(huì)首次向其派遣了使團(tuán),雖未取得預(yù)期的成功,但在塔查爾的推動(dòng)下,路易十四決定繼續(xù)堅(jiān)持下去。塔氏懷著使整個(gè)暹羅改宗的理想,脫離了赴華傳教團(tuán),一生5次往返于歐亞大陸之間以推動(dòng)兩國(guó)外交,最后他的事業(yè)卻以失敗而告終。雖然17世紀(jì)末法國(guó)在暹羅的種種活動(dòng)已經(jīng)體現(xiàn)出了它的殖民主義野心,但從塔查爾的主觀來看,他所做的一切努力依然只是為了傳播福音,拯救生靈。
[Abstract]:The opening of the great sailing era allowed the European monarch to look from land to sea, and in the process of expansion, France, as a new European power rising in the west, Portugal and Holland, gradually infiltrated into Asia from the 17th century and hoped to take its place. France took advantage of Siam's offer to send a mission to Siam for the first time. Although it failed to achieve the desired success, Louis XIV decided to stick with it under the push of Tachal. With the ideal of transforming the whole Siam, Tashi broke away from the mission to China and went back and forth between Eurasia five times in his life to promote diplomacy between the two countries, but his career ended in failure. Although France's activities in Siam at the end of the 17th century have shown its colonial ambitions, from the subjective point of view of Tachal, all his efforts are still only to spread the gospel and save the living.
