【摘要】：學(xué)界對(duì)于1 9世紀(jì)中期至20世紀(jì)初澳洲華人形象的既有研究中主要討論的是白人男性對(duì)于華人男性的認(rèn)識(shí),白人女性的聲音被忽視和隱匿。本文試圖從與華人男性移民有過(guò)親密關(guān)系和廣泛接觸的白人女性對(duì)他們的評(píng)價(jià)著手進(jìn)行分析,揭示存在于另一種思維中的華人男性形象及其形成的背景,以豐富我們對(duì)于當(dāng)時(shí)澳大利亞種族關(guān)系的認(rèn)識(shí)。
[Abstract]:From the middle of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, the existing research on the image of Australian Chinese in academic circles mainly discusses the white male's understanding of the Chinese male, and the voice of the white woman is ignored and concealed. This paper attempts to analyze the evaluation of white women who have had close relationship and extensive contact with Chinese male immigrants in order to reveal the image of Chinese men in another way of thinking and the background of their formation. To enrich our understanding of race relations in Australia at the time.
