【摘要】： 近代以來(lái),華人大規(guī)模移居海外,并在不同程度上為移居國(guó)的發(fā)展做出了貢獻(xiàn)。伴隨著華人移民現(xiàn)象的出現(xiàn),某些時(shí)期的海外華人也遭受了各種不平等的待遇,自身權(quán)利難以得到保障。本文以美國(guó)統(tǒng)治菲律賓時(shí)期的菲律賓華人為研究對(duì)象,分析闡述了這一處于美國(guó)《排華法案》影響下的華人移民現(xiàn)象。文中詳細(xì)介紹了《排華法案》在美國(guó)形成的背景以及在美國(guó)對(duì)菲律賓實(shí)行殖民統(tǒng)治后,該法案如何歷經(jīng)繁復(fù)的過(guò)程移入菲律賓群島的過(guò)程。在此過(guò)程中可以看出,華人移民問(wèn)題涉及的有關(guān)群體遠(yuǎn)不止華人本身,還包括與此有著相關(guān)利益的方方面面,而華人本身的權(quán)益,也在此過(guò)程中未能得到有效的維護(hù)而歷經(jīng)摧殘。雖然在法案頒布之后,菲律賓華人采取過(guò)針對(duì)這一歧視性舉動(dòng)的種種抗?fàn)?但是最終法案的實(shí)施還是給當(dāng)時(shí)的菲律賓華人社會(huì)帶來(lái)了顯著的變化。這些變化涵蓋了菲律賓華人生活的方方面面,既有經(jīng)濟(jì)方面的、也有社會(huì)生活方面的,并且進(jìn)一步影響了華人與當(dāng)?shù)孛褡逯g的融合,而這些變化帶來(lái)的影響也造就了今天菲律賓華人社會(huì)的特點(diǎn),即華人人數(shù)總量相對(duì)其他東南亞國(guó)家較少和華人人均資本占有量相對(duì)較多等等。美國(guó)統(tǒng)治菲律賓時(shí)期的菲律賓華人移民及其經(jīng)歷既有其自身的特殊性,又能反映歷史上海外華人移民的許多基本問(wèn)題,具有重要的理論與實(shí)際研究意義。
[Abstract]:Since modern times, Chinese have emigrated abroad on a large scale and contributed to the development of the emigrated country to varying degrees. With the emergence of the phenomenon of Chinese immigrants, some overseas Chinese also suffered from various unequal treatment, their rights are difficult to be protected. Taking the Filipino Chinese under American rule in the Philippines as the research object, this paper analyzes the phenomenon of Chinese immigrants under the influence of the American exclusion Act. This paper describes in detail the background of the formation of the Chinese exclusion Act in the United States and how the Act passed through a complicated process into the Philippine Islands after the United States exercised colonial rule over the Philippines. In the course of this process, we can see that the issue of Chinese immigrants involves not only the Chinese themselves, but also all aspects of the relevant interests, and the rights and interests of the Chinese themselves. In this process also failed to get effective maintenance and experienced devastation. After the enactment of the bill, the Chinese in the Philippines took all kinds of protests against this discriminatory action, but the implementation of the bill brought about remarkable changes to the Chinese society in the Philippines at that time. These changes have covered all aspects of the life of Filipino Chinese, both economically and socially, and have further affected the integration of Chinese and local peoples. The influence of these changes has also brought about the characteristics of the Chinese society in the Philippines today, that is, the total number of Chinese is smaller than that of other Southeast Asian countries, and the per capita capital possession of Chinese is relatively large, and so on. The Filipino Chinese immigrants and their experiences during the period of American rule over the Philippines have their own particularities and many basic problems which can reflect the history of Chinese immigrants outside Shanghai. It has important theoretical and practical significance.
