【摘要】： 美國南部不僅僅是簡單地作為一個(gè)地理概念而存在。事實(shí)上,美國南部的獨(dú)特性及神秘性更大程度上也是一種文化概念上的存在。本文著眼于美國南方重建時(shí)期,以重建時(shí)南方白人對(duì)待黑人的態(tài)度為切入點(diǎn),論述重建時(shí)南方白人意識(shí)形態(tài)方面的獨(dú)特性——南方文化特性的一個(gè)側(cè)面。主要概述為南方白人在重建時(shí)期所體現(xiàn)出來的對(duì)于喪失白人至上權(quán)威及自我身份認(rèn)同的恐懼;對(duì)于捍衛(wèi)白人至上的等級(jí)秩序及南部榮譽(yù)的信念這兩方面。 美國南方的歷史深深印證了南方最為敏感的白人與黑人間的種族關(guān)系。內(nèi)戰(zhàn)之后的南方重建,作為南方歷史上一個(gè)特定的、充滿爭(zhēng)議的重要時(shí)期,更毫無例外地與白人和黑人間的種族關(guān)系有著千絲萬縷的聯(lián)系。 重建時(shí)期,南方白人在政治生活中對(duì)待黑人的態(tài)度顯現(xiàn)出南方自人對(duì)于失去白人至上權(quán)威和自我身份認(rèn)同的恐懼。南方白人不愿正視內(nèi)戰(zhàn)和接踵而來的重建給南方社會(huì)所帶來的巨大沖擊。在重建過程中,南方白人體現(xiàn)了他們捍衛(wèi)白人至上等級(jí)秩序及南部榮譽(yù)的堅(jiān)定信念。南方白人竭盡全力要保護(hù)他們深深眷戀的舊南方及其獨(dú)特性。 通過分析論述,本文旨在揭示南方白人的恐懼與信念是重建那一特定時(shí)期南方的文化特性。相應(yīng)地,重建時(shí)期旨在重塑南方白人與黑人種族關(guān)系的這一任務(wù)也沒有完成。本文進(jìn)一步指出,黑人問題的真正解決,更大程度上是取決于白人的思想意識(shí)及價(jià)值取向方面。
[Abstract]:The southern United States does not simply exist as a geographical concept. In fact, the uniqueness and mystery of the southern United States is more of a cultural concept. This paper focuses on the reconstruction period of the American South, taking the attitude of the white South towards blacks as the starting point, and discusses the uniqueness of the ideology of the Southern whites during the reconstruction, which is a aspect of the cultural identity of the South. It is mainly summarized as the fear of losing the authority of white supremacy and self-identity embodied in the reconstruction period, and the belief in defending the hierarchical order of white supremacy and the honor of the South. The history of the American South is a testament to the racial relationship between the most sensitive white and black people in the South. The reconstruction of the South after the Civil War, as a special and controversial important period in the history of the South, was inextricably linked to the racial relations between whites and blacks. During the period of reconstruction, the attitude of Southern whites towards blacks in political life showed the fear of losing white supremacy and self identity. Southern whites did not want to face up to the huge impact of civil war and subsequent reconstruction on southern society. In the process of reconstruction, the whites of the South embodied their firm belief in defending the white supremacy of hierarchy and the honor of the South. The whites of the South did their best to protect their deeply attached old South and its uniqueness. The purpose of this paper is to reveal that the fear and belief of white people in the South is to reconstruct the cultural identity of the South in that particular period. Accordingly, the task of rebuilding the white-black race in the South was not completed. This paper further points out that the real solution of the black problem depends more on the white people's ideology and value orientation.
