【摘要】：公元476年羅慕路斯·奧古斯都路斯的退位往往被看成羅馬帝國衰亡的標(biāo)志性事件,研究者們對這一事件有各種不同的理解。5世紀(jì)后期和6世紀(jì)前期的史料表明,當(dāng)時(shí)的人們并沒有將476年事件看成羅馬帝國衰亡的標(biāo)志性事件。對當(dāng)時(shí)的羅馬人來說,一個(gè)完全獨(dú)立于東部朝廷的"西部帝國"并不存在。476年以后,奧多阿克和狄奧德里克等帝國西部的統(tǒng)治者們也仍然以羅馬帝國的名義進(jìn)行統(tǒng)治。但是,到6世紀(jì)前期,羅馬帝國東部開始逐漸形成了一種"476年羅馬帝國西部政權(quán)滅亡"的觀念,這一觀念的起源與當(dāng)時(shí)羅馬帝國西部和東部之間復(fù)雜的政治局勢密切相關(guān)。
[Abstract]:The abdication of Romulus Augustus in 476 AD is often seen as a landmark event of the fall of the Roman Empire, and researchers have different interpretations of the events of the late 5th century and the early sixth century. People did not see 476 years as a symbol of the fall of the Roman Empire. To the Romans at that time, a "western empire" completely independent of the eastern court did not exist. 476 years later, the rulers of the Western Empire, such as Oddoac and Diodric, still ruled in the name of the Roman Empire. However, by the early sixth century, the eastern part of the Roman Empire began to form a concept of "the destruction of the western Roman power in 476 years", the origin of which was closely related to the complicated political situation between the western and eastern Roman Empire at that time.
