維查耶納伽爾帝國(guó)時(shí)期南印度印度教神廟研究(1340-1565)

【摘要】:維查耶納伽爾帝國(guó)時(shí)期(公元1340-1565),南印度印度教神廟的建造活動(dòng)如火如荼。禮儀君主和部族首領(lǐng)都積極投身于神廟的建造和捐贈(zèng)。因此,神廟在整個(gè)帝國(guó)興建起來(lái)。維查耶納伽爾帝國(guó)時(shí)期南印度神廟的興建離不開(kāi)禮儀君主和地方部族首領(lǐng)的大力支持。此外,這一時(shí)期的印度教神廟不僅是作為建筑物存在,還在國(guó)家的政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)中扮演著重要角色。本文把這一時(shí)期的南印度神廟建筑置于以波頓·斯坦為代表的歷史學(xué)家主張的“斷裂國(guó)家”的社會(huì)政治背景下考察,而這一社會(huì)政治背景構(gòu)成研究維查耶納伽爾帝國(guó)時(shí)期南印度印度教神廟的新視角。本文從以下幾個(gè)方面對(duì)維查耶納伽爾帝國(guó)時(shí)期的南印度印度教神廟進(jìn)行闡釋:第一部分介紹維查耶納伽爾帝國(guó)時(shí)期南印度印度教神廟興建的歷史背景,從而揭示這一時(shí)期的“斷裂國(guó)家”形態(tài)以及有限的政治集權(quán)。第二部分歸納敘述維查耶納伽爾帝國(guó)時(shí)期南印度神廟的基本情況,包括其分布情況、修建過(guò)程、布局形態(tài)以及裝飾藝術(shù),進(jìn)而揭示神廟布局的目的和意義以及其所要?jiǎng)?chuàng)建的空間氛圍。第三部分對(duì)維查耶納伽爾帝國(guó)時(shí)期南印度印度教神廟所具有的政治面向進(jìn)行分析,從“禮儀主權(quán)”和“等級(jí)體系”兩個(gè)方面來(lái)揭示這一時(shí)期印度教神廟所扮演的政治角色。第四部分對(duì)維查耶納伽爾帝國(guó)時(shí)期南印度印度教神廟所具有的經(jīng)濟(jì)面向進(jìn)行分析,從“銀行功能”和“經(jīng)濟(jì)收益”兩方面揭示這一時(shí)期印度教神廟所扮演的經(jīng)濟(jì)角色。第五部分對(duì)維查耶納伽爾帝國(guó)時(shí)期南印度印度教神廟的社會(huì)文化面向進(jìn)行分析,從“社會(huì)空間”和“社會(huì)功能”兩個(gè)方面來(lái)揭示這一時(shí)期印度教神廟所承擔(dān)的社會(huì)職能。本文認(rèn)為,維查耶納伽爾帝國(guó)時(shí)期的印度教神廟不僅是膜拜神靈的宗教場(chǎng)所,它還是這一時(shí)期南印度斷裂國(guó)家的翻版,是某種特殊的國(guó)家空間形態(tài),是維護(hù)國(guó)家統(tǒng)治和國(guó)家秩序的有力力量。
[Abstract]:During the Vichajenagar Empire (1340-1565 AD), the construction of the southern Hindu temple was in full swing. Ceremonial monarchs and tribal chiefs were actively involved in building and donating temples. So the temple was built throughout the empire. The temple of South India during the Vichajenagar Empire was built with the support of the ceremonial monarch and the local tribal leaders. In addition, Hindu temples of this period not only existed as buildings, but also played an important role in the country's politics, economy and society. In this paper, the temple architecture of South India in this period is examined against the social and political background of the "broken country" advocated by historians represented by Bolton Stein. This social and political background constitutes a new perspective in the study of the temple of southern Hinduism during the Vichajenagar Empire. This paper explains the southern Hindu temple in the Vichajenagar period from the following aspects: the first part introduces the historical background of the construction of the southern Hindu temple in the Vichajenagar period. In order to reveal the period of the "broken state" form and limited political centralization. The second part summarizes the basic situation of the temple in South India during the Vichajenagar Empire, including its distribution, construction process, layout form and decorative art. Then it reveals the purpose and significance of temple layout and the space atmosphere it wants to create. The third part analyzes the political orientation of the Southern Hindu temple during the Vichajenagar Empire, and reveals the political role of the Hindu temple in this period from the two aspects of "ceremonial sovereignty" and "hierarchy system". The fourth part analyzes the economic orientation of the Southern Hindu temple during the Vichajenagar Empire, and reveals the economic role of the Hindu temple in this period from the two aspects of "bank function" and "economic benefit". The fifth part analyzes the social and cultural orientation of the Southern Hindu temple in the Vichajenagar Empire period, and reveals the social function of the Hindu temple in this period from the two aspects of "social space" and "social function". This paper holds that the Hindu temple during the Vichajenagar Empire is not only a religious place to worship the gods, but also a replica of the South Indian fractured country in this period, which is a special form of national space. It is a powerful force for the maintenance of national rule and order.
