孔雀與六到十二世紀(jì)的東亞外交世界——以中日兩國(guó)為中心

【摘要】:六至十二世紀(jì)的東亞處于古代中國(guó)構(gòu)建的宗藩體系中,國(guó)家間的往來(lái)伴隨著各類動(dòng)物的贈(zèng)送,是當(dāng)時(shí)國(guó)際關(guān)系的重要環(huán)節(jié)。這一時(shí)期,孔雀一方面得益于自身的外在特性,另一方面借助佛教?hào)|傳,成為頗具宗教內(nèi)涵的符號(hào)性動(dòng)物,被視為動(dòng)物贈(zèng)送中的代表之一。以古代國(guó)家間的孔雀饋贈(zèng)為線索,有助于幫助探究其在東亞各國(guó)關(guān)系中的政治地位、文化內(nèi)涵,明晰當(dāng)時(shí)的東亞國(guó)家外交特性。
[Abstract]:In the sixth to twelfth centuries, East Asia was in the suzerain-vassal system established by ancient China, and the exchange between countries was accompanied by various animal gifts, which was an important link in international relations at that time. In this period, peacocks, on the one hand, benefited from their own external characteristics, on the other hand, with the help of Buddhism, became a symbolic animal with religious connotations, and was regarded as one of the representatives of animal gift. Taking the peacock gift between ancient countries as the clue, it is helpful to probe into its political status and cultural connotation in the relations of East Asian countries, and to clarify the diplomatic characteristics of the East Asian countries at that time.
