【摘要】：17世紀英格蘭取代了新聞業(yè)處于領(lǐng)先地位的尼德蘭,成為世界新聞中心。此后,英國的報紙發(fā)展在20世紀之前一直走在世界的前列,代表著報紙發(fā)展的方向。英格蘭早期的報紙經(jīng)歷了從“科蘭特(coranto)"(新聞書)演變到新聞紙(newspaper)的過程。1665年英格蘭第一份正式報紙《倫敦公報》的出現(xiàn),標(biāo)志著新聞書時期結(jié)束,報紙時代正式來臨。但在1695年之前,由于特許出版制度的存在,報紙的創(chuàng)辦都僅限于倫敦,地方級的報刊是不允許存在的。從1665年《倫敦官報》到1702年第一份地方報紙《諾威奇郵報》的出現(xiàn),中間相隔了37年。 報紙使得閱讀在18世紀的英格蘭經(jīng)歷了一種根本轉(zhuǎn)變；增加了民眾的政治意識,作為公共領(lǐng)域形成的重要媒介；推動了地方經(jīng)濟的發(fā)展；進而影響了整個英國的歷史進程。有鑒于此,本文從英格蘭早期地方報業(yè)著手,重點考察地方報業(yè)的興起原因、發(fā)展、及其影響。 本文分四章。第一章主要描述了英格蘭早期報紙的演進,即從“科蘭特”演變到新聞紙的過程。正文第二章主要分析英格蘭早期地方報業(yè)興起的原因。首先交代了1695年《許可證法案》的廢除,報業(yè)的出版環(huán)境較以前大為寬松,成為英格蘭報業(yè)發(fā)展史上一個至關(guān)重要的轉(zhuǎn)折點。隨后,論述了人口的增多和城市化的進程對于地方報業(yè)發(fā)展的推動作用。最后,討論了印刷商在地方報紙出現(xiàn)過程中的重要貢獻。 第三章考察了影響英格蘭早期地方報紙發(fā)展的因素。印刷方法的更新是地方報紙發(fā)展的首要因素；印花稅對地方報紙的發(fā)展起了較大的作用,它決定了地方報紙的版面大小、價格和發(fā)展的階段性；此外,傳遞服務(wù)的加強也促進了地方報紙的發(fā)展。 第四章詳細描述了英格蘭早期地方報紙的主要內(nèi)容。18世紀前20年,歐洲戰(zhàn)爭不斷,報導(dǎo)戰(zhàn)爭的進程和戰(zhàn)略戰(zhàn)術(shù)首先成為地方報紙的主題。同時,外國新聞也占據(jù)了大部分18世紀英格蘭地方報紙的版面。其次,報紙的歷史始終是和政府模式的歷史糾纏在一起的,為了獲得公眾的支持,18世紀的英格蘭政府不可避免要利用出版業(yè)。為了吸引更多的讀者,地方報紙還涉及了貿(mào)易評論和娛樂消息。最后,五花八門的廣告也是地方報紙表現(xiàn)的內(nèi)容,它們把18世紀英格蘭的社會經(jīng)濟生活展現(xiàn)得淋漓盡致。 結(jié)語部分論述了英格蘭早期地方報業(yè)的社會影響：第一,英格蘭早期地方報紙漸漸承擔(dān)了教育公眾的任務(wù),大大提高了人們的識字率,幫助彌補了當(dāng)時貧乏的教育。第二,地方報紙對民眾普及了政治,報紙成為公眾參與政治生活并借以對抗國家權(quán)力機關(guān)的媒介。第三,地方報紙還推動了18世紀英格蘭商業(yè)的發(fā)展和經(jīng)濟的繁榮,大大提高了國民的生活水準�？傊�,18世紀英格蘭地方報業(yè)對于整個英國歷史進程的影響是不容忽視的。
[Abstract]:In the 17th century England replaced the leading newspaper industry in Nedran as a world news centre. Since then, British newspapers have been at the forefront of the world until the 20th century. It represents the direction of newspaper development. Early newspapers in England underwent a process from "Corland" (news book) to newsprint (newspaper). The emergence of the first official English newspaper, the London Gazette, in 1665 marked the end of the news book period. The newspaper era was officially approaching. But before 1695, with the existence of the franchise system, the establishment of newspapers was confined to London. Local newspapers were not allowed to exist. From 1665 to 1702 when the first local newspaper, the Norwich Post, appeared, it was 37 years apart. Newspapers made reading go through a fundamental transformation in England in the 18th century, increased people's political consciousness as an important medium for the formation of the public sphere, promoted the development of local economy; In view of this, this paper focuses on the causes, development and influence of the local newspaper industry in early England. This paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter mainly describes the evolution of early English newspapers. The second chapter mainly analyzes the reasons for the rise of the early local newspaper industry in England. First, it explains the abolition of the Licensing Act in 1695, and the publishing environment of the newspaper industry is much more relaxed than before. To become a crucial turning point in the history of the newspaper industry in England. Then, the paper discusses the role of population growth and urbanization in promoting the development of local newspapers. Finally, The important contribution of printers to the emergence of local newspapers was discussed. The third chapter examines the factors that affect the development of local newspapers in early England. The updating of printing methods is the primary factor in the development of local newspapers. Stamp duty plays a great role in the development of local newspapers, which determines the size of local newspapers. Prices and stages of development; in addition, the strengthening of delivery services also promoted the development of local newspapers. The fourth chapter describes in detail the main contents of the early English local newspapers. During the first 20 years of the 18th century, European wars continued, and the process of reporting on the war and the strategy and tactics first became the themes of the local newspapers. Foreign news also occupied most of the pages of local newspapers in England in the 18th century. Secondly, the history of newspapers has always been entangled with the history of the government model. In order to gain public support, the 18th century England government inevitably used the publishing industry. In order to attract more readers, local newspapers also covered trade reviews and entertainment news. Finally, Advertisements are also a feature of local newspapers, revealing the social and economic life of England in the 18 th century. The conclusion discusses the social impact of early English local newspapers: first, the early English local newspapers gradually assumed the task of educating the public, which greatly improved the literacy rate of the people and helped to make up for the poor education at that time. Local newspapers popularized politics for the people, and they became a medium for the public to participate in political life and to confront the organs of state power. Third, local newspapers also contributed to the development of business and the prosperity of the economy in England in the 18th century. It has greatly improved the standard of living of the people. In a word, the influence of the 18 th century English local press on the course of British history can not be ignored.
