【摘要】： 19世紀(jì)中期,西進(jìn)運(yùn)動(dòng)在美國(guó)轟轟烈烈展開。本文通過(guò)敘述婦女在穿越大陸的旅行中的經(jīng)歷以及在邊疆的早期生活,探討了她們?cè)陂_拓西部邊疆、建設(shè)文明社會(huì)以及重塑傳統(tǒng)道德規(guī)范過(guò)程中的作用,并分析了十九世紀(jì)意識(shí)形態(tài)對(duì)婦女的影響,最后得出結(jié)論,盡管婦女在西進(jìn)及拓荒過(guò)程中承擔(dān)起許多突破性別界限的新責(zé)任,然而婦女并未因此而獲得自由和解放,事實(shí)上,社會(huì)對(duì)婦女的評(píng)價(jià)以及婦女對(duì)自身的評(píng)價(jià)仍然沿襲傳統(tǒng)道德的價(jià)值標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。 本文首先簡(jiǎn)要介紹西進(jìn)運(yùn)動(dòng)的歷史背景,接著考察了婦女在西進(jìn)前、西進(jìn)過(guò)程中以及到達(dá)目的地定居以后所面臨的種種挑戰(zhàn),分析了不斷變化的性別角色以及婦女對(duì)這一變化所持的保守態(tài)度。通過(guò)集中描繪婦女在穿越大陸的過(guò)程中和在早期農(nóng)業(yè)區(qū)邊疆的生活和勞動(dòng),論文分析了婦女的家庭和社會(huì)作用、婦女所作的貢獻(xiàn)以及十九世紀(jì)傳統(tǒng)家庭觀對(duì)婦女的重大影響。
[Abstract]:In the middle of 19th century, the westward movement was launched in the United States. By describing the experiences of women travelling across the mainland and their early life in the frontier, this paper discusses how they are exploring the western frontier. The role of building a civilized society and reinventing traditional ethics, and analyzing the influence of ideology on women in 19th century. Although women took on many new responsibilities for breaking the gender line in the process of westward advancement and pioneer, women were not freed and liberated as a result, in fact, Social evaluation of women and women's evaluation of themselves still follow the value of traditional morality. This paper first briefly introduces the historical background of the westward movement, and then examines the challenges that women face before, during, and after arriving at their destination. Having analysed the changing gender roles and the conservative attitudes of women towards this change, by focusing on the life and labour of women in the process of crossing the continent and in the frontier areas of the early agricultural regions, The paper analyzes the role of women in family and society, the contribution of women and the great influence of traditional family view on women in 19th century.
