【摘要】：殖民地史學盡管與美國史學有著地域和時間上的延續(xù)性,但是它卻與歐洲史學是個"自然的同一體",這是因為無論從殖民地的社會環(huán)境、歷史寫作者本身還是寫作目的來看,都與英國有著密不可分的聯系。二者之間區(qū)別甚于聯系,如果說二者之間有何聯系的話,確切地說,應該是"前世"與"今生"的關系。美國獨特的國家主義不僅是美國史學得以產生的"催化劑",而且還成為美國史學傳統(tǒng)發(fā)展的基礎和原動力。美國史學與共和國同生共長,從而打上了深深的"美國烙印"。
[Abstract]:Although colonial historiography has a geographical and temporal continuity with American historiography, it is a "natural identity" with European historiography, because whether from the colonial social environment, the historical writers themselves or the purpose of writing, They are inextricably linked to Britain. The difference between the two is more than the connection. If there is any connection between the two, it should be the relationship between the past and the present life. The unique nationalism of the United States is not only the catalyst of American historiography, but also the basis and motive force of the development of American historiography. American historiography grew up with the Republic, thus placing a deep "American brand".
