【摘要】：后現(xiàn)代主義對(duì)歷史學(xué)的挑戰(zhàn)是否預(yù)示著新一輪"史學(xué)危機(jī)"的來臨,是否又意味著"歷史學(xué)的終結(jié)"?它至少引發(fā)了當(dāng)代西方史學(xué)思想的一次新震蕩,并從理論層面波及到歷史寫作的實(shí)踐領(lǐng)域,其影響甚至超出學(xué)術(shù)范疇,直達(dá)人們對(duì)社會(huì)歷史的普遍認(rèn)識(shí)。而所謂"歷史學(xué)的終結(jié)"也并不意味著歷史學(xué)科的消亡,僅僅意味著一場新的史學(xué)變革。西方主流史學(xué)家試圖從歷史學(xué)的多重特性、客觀性的限度與歷史事實(shí)的建構(gòu)等幾個(gè)相互聯(lián)系的方面展開與后現(xiàn)代主義的論爭,在回應(yīng)挑戰(zhàn)中捍衛(wèi)歷史學(xué)的合法性與謀求學(xué)科發(fā)展的新途徑。盡管在現(xiàn)代與后現(xiàn)代史學(xué)之間仍然存在著深刻的理論分野,但它們似乎在嘗試以某種方式共存,即融合現(xiàn)代與后現(xiàn)代的歷史視角,一方面運(yùn)用后現(xiàn)代主義的理論鋒芒消解現(xiàn)代史學(xué)的頑疾與弊端,另一方面又以現(xiàn)代史學(xué)長期積累的經(jīng)驗(yàn)體系來規(guī)訓(xùn)后現(xiàn)代意識(shí)中某些極端化的思想傾向。雙方的相互交鋒與激烈碰撞逐步演化為當(dāng)代西方史學(xué)變遷的推動(dòng)力,也預(yù)示著未來史學(xué)發(fā)展的可能性選擇。
[Abstract]:Does the challenge of postmodernism to history herald the coming of a new round of "historical crisis", and does it mean "the end of history"? It has at least caused a new shock of the contemporary western historiography thought, and spread to the practical field of historical writing from the theory level, its influence even went beyond the academic scope, direct people to the universal understanding of the social history. The end of history does not mean the demise of history, but a new revolution in history. Western mainstream historians have tried to argue with postmodernism in terms of the multiple characteristics of history, the limits of objectivity and the construction of historical facts. Defending the legitimacy of history in response to challenges and seeking new approaches to discipline development. Although there is still a profound theoretical division between modern and post-modern historiography, they seem to be trying to coexist in some way, that is, to integrate the historical perspective of modern and post-modern. On the one hand, the theory of postmodernism is used to eliminate the stubborn problems and drawbacks of modern historiography, on the other hand, the long-term accumulated experience system of modern historiography is used to discipline some extreme ideological tendencies in postmodern consciousness. The mutual confrontation and fierce collision between the two sides gradually evolved into the driving force of contemporary western historiography, and also indicated the possible choice of the development of historiography in the future.
