[Abstract]:Background: domestic violence is a risk factor for the healthy development of children. Even more worrisome in developing countries are the adverse effects of domestic poverty and domestic violence on children. Existing studies have shown that child development is related to family structure and socio-economic conditions. However, these studies do not reveal whether there are other background factors affecting children's health development. Methods: the purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between domestic violence and children's mental health and well-being, and to examine whether family economic status played a regulatory role in the relationship between domestic violence and mental health and well-being. In addition, to further explore whether mental health plays an intermediary role between domestic violence and well-being. Results: the study consisted of two parts. The first part was a random selection of 530 children (345 females 185 males with an average age of 15.6 years) and the second part consisted of 320 dependents who reported whether the children had experienced domestic violence. In this study, four psychological questionnaires, two subscales of symptom checklist (SCL-90) were used to test children's mental health and well-being, and the children's behavior checklist (CBCL-4-18) and the child depression questionnaire (CDI) were used to test their mental health status. Statistical software SPSS22.0 was used for data statistics and analysis. Correlation analysis, regression analysis and t-test were used in this study. Results: the results of this study were consistent with the hypothesis, and four results were obtained. First of all, compared with individuals who have not experienced domestic violence, experiencing domestic violence not only negatively affects children's mental health, but also affects their well-being. Secondly, family economic status regulates the relationship between family violence, mental health and well-being. In addition, the relationship between mental health intermediary family violence and well-being. Finally, the ABC model of experiment 6 illustrates how domestic violence affects children and also helps to prevent the adverse effects of domestic violence. The results of this study reveal that domestic violence is harmful to children's mental health and well-being. More attention needs to be paid to domestic violence, especially in developing countries where social inequality is wide. Society needs to pay attention to the problem of children's development in poor families, because poverty is not only unable to achieve good development, but also affects the healthy development of children's psychology. The study also shows that increasing household income plays an important role in child growth, both in good and low-income families. Clearly, in low-income families, factors related to children and families help children distinguish and adjust domestic violence. Children with high psychological flexibility can not only reduce domestic violence, but also lower the level of fear and anxiety in front of their parents, so they are more healthy and have better relationship with their parents. This study also shows that children's self-adjustment largely affects their relationship with their parents regardless of their level of family experience. Therefore, it is also necessary to give children and parents some guiding services. In the intervention, raising the level of family income can reduce the incidence of domestic violence. From the perspective of elasticity, this study focuses on whether there are other positive factors between low income domestic violence and its impact. In developing countries, children's mental health can be promoted by improving their mental health.
