【摘要】：瑯琊王氏與陳郡謝氏同為能左右江左政局的門閥士族。其中王氏先貴,謝氏后顯。東晉中晚期,謝氏家族一心翼衛(wèi)皇室且從容進(jìn)退,有所不為;而王氏兄弟則攀附權(quán)臣,不存國計并于鉆營貪取中盡露其陰忍狡黠之性,由此兩家交惡、聯(lián)姻終絕。王氏兄弟的品行及門望對希圖大事的劉裕來說適有可取,故在代晉自立的過程中,劉裕對王氏家族多所信賴,而于謝氏后人則心存猜疑,或干脆剪除。新朝既建,王弘叔侄正是利用了這一特殊機(jī)緣以泄其宿怨。先是王弘彈奏謝靈運(yùn),使之免官并暴其家丑,繼乃弘又聯(lián)手王華、王曇首至謝晦一家盡皆被殺。謝晦被殺后,靈運(yùn)始當(dāng)謝族門戶,然因有人暗中構(gòu)陷,無論靈運(yùn)居官或歸隱,仍屢遭糾彈并最終為彭城王劉義康所害。劉義康之害靈運(yùn),其幕后推手當(dāng)有新貴孟豈頁及王氏兄弟。
