【摘要】：美國基督會史德文(Albert L.Shelton)醫(yī)生是近代康藏史與中美關(guān)系史上一位重要人物,然學(xué)界對其在康藏活動的研究甚不足。文章從文字與珍稀圖像資料結(jié)合的視角,利用英漢史料及口述資料,對史德文作為醫(yī)生、糾紛調(diào)停者、東西方文化橋梁、科技傳播者、漢藏人民的朋友、漢藏文化交融的歷史見證者等角色與活動作一梳理和探討,以豐富地呈現(xiàn)歷史。史德文在康藏的活動與角色不僅是歷史研究中值得重視的史實(shí),對思考如何在多元文化、宗教、民族社會中和睦相處、共生共榮等問題也具有學(xué)術(shù)和現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。
[Abstract]:Dr. Albert L. Shelton of the Christian Church of America is an important figure in the history of modern Kangzang and Sino-American relations, but the academic circles have not studied his activities in Kangzang.From the perspective of the combination of words and rare images, this paper makes use of both English and Chinese historical materials and oral materials, and analyzes Shi Devon as a doctor, a mediator of disputes, a bridge between eastern and western cultures, a communicator of science and technology, and a friend of the Chinese and Tibetan people.The roles and activities of historical Witness in the blending of Han and Tibetan culture are combed and discussed in order to present history in a rich way.The activities and roles of Shi Devon in Kangzang are not only historical facts worthy of attention in historical research, but also of academic and practical significance for thinking about how to live in harmony and co-prosperity in multi-culture, religion, national society, and so on.
