【摘要】：自16世紀(jì)西方航海家不斷發(fā)現(xiàn)新的陸地以來,世界地理的準(zhǔn)確輪廓才開始逐漸明確。孟德斯鳩在推崇現(xiàn)代的民主政制理想時,已經(jīng)力圖憑靠當(dāng)時所知的世界地理新輪廓所提供的世界史視野來增強(qiáng)其論證的說服力。在孟德斯鳩的激發(fā)下,杜爾哥試圖建立一種進(jìn)步論的普遍歷史的政治地理學(xué)。與此不同,麥金德的政治地理學(xué)具有兩種文明史觀:一方面是修昔底德式的現(xiàn)實主義史觀,另一方面又是啟蒙式的普遍歷史觀。由于這兩種史觀具有內(nèi)在矛盾,麥金德力圖用修昔底德式的務(wù)實精神來糾正啟蒙式的民主理想。麥金德非常憂慮:在西方民主國家,由于民主的理想主義者們長期灌輸自由和平等的理想,自由的各種理想已經(jīng)成了普通公民的固執(zhí)偏見,公民完全不知道還應(yīng)該從戰(zhàn)略上思考國家的安全。
[Abstract]:Since the discovery of new land by western navigators in the 16 th century, the exact outline of world geography has become clear. Montesquieu, while advocating the ideal of modern democratic political system, has tried to strengthen his argument with the world history vision provided by the new outline of world geography known at that time. Inspired by Montesquieu, Dulco tried to establish a general historical political geography of progressiveness. Different from this, McKinde's political geography has two historical views of civilization: one is the realistic historical view of Thucydides, the other is the universal historical view of enlightenment. Because of the inherent contradiction between these two historical views, McKinley tried to correct the enlightenment democratic ideal with the practical spirit of Thucydides. McKinley was very worried: in Western democracies, because democratic idealists have long instilled the ideals of freedom and equality, the ideals of freedom have become the stubborn prejudice of ordinary citizens. Citizens have no idea that they should also think strategically about national security.
