【摘要】：自中西方展開交流以來,特別是大航海時(shí)代后,不少城市都有自己的外文名。寧波作為與西方接觸較早的地區(qū),也很早地被西方人賦予了眾多的外文名。首先要說明的是,在中世紀(jì),拉丁文是當(dāng)時(shí)歐洲不同國家交流的媒介語,其地位相當(dāng)于東亞的文言文。本文對(duì)于寧波外文名的介紹,如果沒有特殊情況,一般指的是拉丁語名。
[Abstract]:Since the Western exchanges, especially after the age of discovery, many city has its own foreign name. Ningbo as an area in contact with the west, also very early by Westerners giving many foreign names. First of all, in the middle ages, the Latin was the European communication medium language in different countries, its position is equivalent to the classical Chinese in East Asia. This paper introduces foreign name for Ningbo, if there are no special circumstances, generally refers to the Latin name.
