[Abstract]:In the cold weapon era of ancient China, the pass spread all over the country once played an important military role. There are many passes in our country, such as Tongguan in the Shanxi and Shaanxi borders, Niangzigan in the Shanxi and Hebei borders, and Loushanguan in the northern part of Guizhou. Meiguan on the border between Jiangxi and Guangdong, Fungu pass on the south bank of the Yellow River in northwest Henan, Hulao pass in western Henan, Pingxingguan in northeast Shanxi, Juyongguan in northwestern Beijing, Shanhaiguan in northeast Hebei and Jiayuguan in western Gansu.
