【摘要】：正從清末開始,上海商務印書館不定期編印出版《上海指南》,《指南》大多數(shù)附有《城廂租界地名表》。當時上海的城市面積不大,道路地名的數(shù)量有限,而上海的每一條弄堂有自己的弄堂名稱,也是上海地名的重要形式,于是,《指南》也把弄堂名稱作為地名收錄其中,如今則成為寶貴的資料。清宣統(tǒng)二年(1910)增訂的第六版《上海指南·城廂租界地名表》
