【摘要】：種族主義,在現(xiàn)在的美國人看來,野蠻、惡毒、荒謬,但在20世紀(jì)上半葉之前,多數(shù)美國人認(rèn)為它合理而正當(dāng)。其根源在于,神學(xué)家以《圣經(jīng)》為據(jù),創(chuàng)造出黑人應(yīng)為白人作奴的神話;科學(xué)家以人類的起源以及不同人種體質(zhì)上的差異為依據(jù),創(chuàng)造出種族有優(yōu)劣差等的神話。神、俗兩界共同締造了種族主義的社會(huì)與文化傳統(tǒng)、白人至上的政治與經(jīng)濟(jì)原則。而推動(dòng)這股傳統(tǒng)與原則得以建立的力量則在于人的自利心。
[Abstract]:Racism, seen by Americans today as barbaric, vicious and absurd, was justified and justified by most Americans before the first half of the twentieth century. Its root is that theologians based on the Bible to create the myth that blacks should be white slaves; scientists based on the origin of human beings and the physical differences of different ethnic groups to create the myth of racial superiority and inferiority. God and custom created racist social and cultural tradition and political and economic principles of white supremacy. And the power that drives this tradition and principle to be able to establish is human self-interest.
