【摘要】：2003—2008年是黃家定擔(dān)任馬華公會(huì)總會(huì)長(zhǎng)時(shí)期。作為總會(huì)長(zhǎng),黃家定提出在維持族群和諧的基礎(chǔ)上,進(jìn)一步提升華裔在馬來(lái)西亞地位的目標(biāo)。為此,馬華公會(huì)施行了教育、經(jīng)濟(jì)、黨內(nèi)改革、新村工作等領(lǐng)域的一系列新政,但施政效果不如人意,以致2008年大選失利。雖然遠(yuǎn)離政治,缺乏對(duì)華裔新社會(huì)運(yùn)動(dòng)的回應(yīng)性是黃家定政綱的致命缺陷,但馬華公會(huì)失政最本質(zhì)的緣由還是在于馬來(lái)西亞以巫統(tǒng)一黨獨(dú)大為核心的種族霸權(quán)制度。
[Abstract]:In 2003-2008, Ong Ka Ting served as the general chairman of the MCA. As president, Ong Ka Ting aims to further promote the status of ethnic Chinese in Malaysia on the basis of ethnic harmony. To this end, the MCA implemented a series of new policies in the fields of education, economy, inner-party reform and new village work, but the results were not satisfactory, resulting in the defeat of the 2008 general election. Although it is a fatal defect of Ong Ka Ting's political platform to be far away from politics and lack of responsiveness to the Chinese New Social Movement, the most essential reason for the loss of political power of the MCA lies in Malaysia's racial hegemony system, which is centered on UMNO's one-party independence.
