【摘要】：正2010年,加拿大通過優(yōu)秀首席研究員計劃吸引了19名來自全球的高層次研究人員,這次選拔中女性研究人員人數(shù)為零。女性研究人員人數(shù)缺失引起了加拿大政府當局的高度關(guān)注,為探明原因,工業(yè)部托加拿大學術(shù)機構(gòu)委員會(CGA)展開專項調(diào)查。對此,CGA成立了一個由15名國際專家組成的多學科研究小組,開展了歷時18個月的專項調(diào)查。并于2012年11月,發(fā)布了一份題為《Strengthening Canada's Research Capacity:The Gender Dimension》的調(diào)查報告。
[Abstract]:In 2010, Canada attracted 19 senior researchers from around the world through the excellent Principal Research Program, with zero women selected.The lack of female researchers has drawn much attention from Canadian authorities, and the Department of Industry commissioned a special investigation by the Canadian Council of academic institutions (CGA) to find out why.The CGA set up a multidisciplinary research team of 15 international experts to conduct a 18-month investigation.A report entitled "Strengthening Canada's Research Capacity:The Gender Dimension" was published in November 2012.
