【摘要】：長久以來,政治參與一直是外來移民實現(xiàn)社會融入的重要方式之一,也是其維護(hù)自身權(quán)益并抗擊主流社會歧視與排擠的必然選擇。作為當(dāng)今美國第二大亞裔群體,印裔族群的參政在久經(jīng)曲折后已發(fā)生根本性的轉(zhuǎn)變。由于新時期的族裔發(fā)展具有多重特性,在一系列自身和外界因素的合力推動下,印裔族群對美國政治生活的積極參與不僅已通過政治捐款、投票、競選、游說等方面得到清晰的展現(xiàn),而且還逐步形成了某些顯著的特點。就目前的發(fā)展態(tài)勢而言,印裔族群的參政力度和影響必將會得到進(jìn)一步的強化。
[Abstract]:For a long time, political participation has been one of the important ways for immigrants to achieve social integration, and it is also an inevitable choice for immigrants to defend their own rights and interests and to combat discrimination and exclusion in mainstream society. As the second largest Asian group in the United States today, The political participation of the Indian ethnic group has undergone a fundamental change after a long period of twists and turns. Due to the multiple characteristics of the ethnic development in the new era, the joint efforts of a series of self and external factors have pushed forward the development of the Indian ethnic group. The active participation of the Indian community in the political life of the United States has not only been clearly demonstrated through political donations, voting, campaigning, lobbying, and so on, but has also gradually formed some notable characteristics. As far as the current development situation is concerned, The political participation and influence of Indian ethnic groups will be further strengthened.
