Here is a brief introduction to the reform of the people's police hat and emblem since the founding of the people's Republic of China. In January 1950, the Ministry of Public Security drew up the draft dress style for the Ministry of Public Security and its armed forces, which was submitted to the Administrative Council on 8 February. On 11 February, the Prime Minister of the Council, Zhou Enlai, approved the draft, stating in its reply:
