基于Zynq平臺的雙PON口EPON ONU SOPC設(shè)計

【摘要】:無源光網(wǎng)絡(luò)(PON)是在當(dāng)前形勢下,應(yīng)對日益增長的高帶寬遠(yuǎn)距離數(shù)據(jù)通信需求的有效解決方案。以太網(wǎng)無源光網(wǎng)絡(luò)(EPON)因其與現(xiàn)有以太網(wǎng)絡(luò)設(shè)備兼容性好,技術(shù)實現(xiàn)容易,總體成本較低等優(yōu)勢,運(yùn)營商推動著EPON在電信接入網(wǎng)絡(luò)的大規(guī)模商用化。隨著無源光網(wǎng)絡(luò)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的發(fā)展和技術(shù)的成熟,以EPON標(biāo)準(zhǔn)為代表的無源光網(wǎng)絡(luò)向工業(yè)領(lǐng)域?qū)S镁W(wǎng)絡(luò)滲透,如電力PON,鐵路PON等。 工業(yè)領(lǐng)域?qū)S镁W(wǎng)絡(luò),不僅對光網(wǎng)絡(luò)的可靠性提出更高的要求,而且其業(yè)務(wù)接口相較于家庭寬帶接入更加多樣化和差異化,如鐵路區(qū)間光通信系統(tǒng),要求具有2路數(shù)據(jù)口和4路電話口,支持雙PON口保護(hù)功能。而市場上現(xiàn)有的EPON ONU SOC方案基本都是針對家庭寬帶接入設(shè)計的,并不能很好的匹配工業(yè)領(lǐng)域?qū)S镁W(wǎng)絡(luò)的業(yè)務(wù)需求特點,擴(kuò)展也不夠靈活。 本課題面向工業(yè)領(lǐng)域?qū)S镁W(wǎng)絡(luò),提出EPON ONU SOPC設(shè)計方案。采用了Xilinx公司Zynq處理器平臺,ARM+FPGA體系架構(gòu),All Programmable SoC解決方案,通過可編程邏輯實現(xiàn),IP核復(fù)用技術(shù)以及上層軟件庫實現(xiàn)等,構(gòu)建EPON ONU SOPC系統(tǒng),以此滿足工業(yè)領(lǐng)域?qū)S镁W(wǎng)絡(luò)對業(yè)務(wù)種類和接口數(shù)量等的差異化需求。 本文首先在對EPON相關(guān)國內(nèi)外標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的研讀基礎(chǔ)上,詳細(xì)介紹了EPON ONUMAC的邏輯設(shè)計實現(xiàn),然后基于Zynq平臺和Digilent公司ZedBoard板卡進(jìn)行SOPC系統(tǒng)硬件平臺的構(gòu)建。由于ZedBoard未包含光接口,本文還介紹了雙PON口FMC擴(kuò)展板卡的相關(guān)設(shè)計實現(xiàn)。 最后,使用瑞斯康達(dá)公司的OLT設(shè)備(ISOCM5508)搭建了簡易的EPON網(wǎng)絡(luò)測試環(huán)境,對Zynq SOPC硬件平臺構(gòu)建以及EPON ONU MAC IP核的操作進(jìn)行驗證和測試,測試結(jié)果顯示,ONU正確注冊并運(yùn)行,達(dá)到了EPON ONU SOPC硬件設(shè)計目標(biāo)。
[Abstract]:Passive optical network (PON) is an effective solution to meet the increasing demand for high bandwidth and long-distance data communication under the current situation. Ethernet passive optical network (EPON) has many advantages, such as good compatibility with existing Ethernet equipment, easy technology implementation, low overall cost, and so on. Operators promote large-scale EPON in telecommunications access network. With the development of passive optical network standard and the maturity of technology, the passive optical network represented by EPON standard has penetrated into the industrial private network, such as power PON and railway PON.
Private networks in the industrial field not only require higher reliability of optical networks, but also have more diversified and differentiated service interfaces than home broadband access. For example, railway optical communication systems require two-way data ports and four-way telephone ports to support dual-PON port protection. They are designed for home broadband access, and can not well match the characteristics of the business needs of the industrial domain private network, and the expansion is not flexible enough.
This paper presents the design scheme of EPON ONU SOPC for industrial domain dedicated network. It adopts Xilinx Zynq processor platform, ARM+FPGA architecture, All Programmable SoC solution, and constructs EPON ONU SOPC system through programmable logic implementation, IP core reuse technology and upper software library implementation to meet the industrial domain dedicated. The differentiated demand of network for business type and number of interfaces.
This paper first introduces the logic design and implementation of EPON ONUMAC on the basis of studying the relevant domestic and foreign standards of EPON, and then builds the hardware platform of SOPC system based on Zynq platform and ZedBoard card of Digilent Company.
Finally, a simple EPON network test environment is built using Resconda's OLT equipment (ISOCM5508). The hardware platform of Zynq SOPC and the operation of EPON ONU MAC IP core are verified and tested. The test results show that ONU is registered and operated correctly, and the hardware design goal of EPON ONU SOPC is achieved.
