一種基于移動設備的分布式流處理系統(tǒng)設計

【摘要】:當前智能手機應用主要依靠客戶端-服務器計算模式,僅僅將手機當作瘦客戶端,通過蜂窩網絡把感知信息發(fā)往服務器進行處理,這使蜂窩網絡成為瓶頸,影響了應用的總體性能。提出一種可以直接在手機上運行的分布式流處理系統(tǒng)MobiStreams。該系統(tǒng)可以把計算任務從遠程服務器轉嫁給本地手機,緩解了蜂窩網絡的壓力。另外,該系統(tǒng)通過設計的檢測點策略有效解決了在智能手機上部署DSPS系統(tǒng)所面臨的容錯問題。利用部署在美國和新加坡的兩個實際應用進行性能評估,結果表明從服務器平臺遷移到智能手機平臺解決了蜂窩網絡的瓶頸問題,使吞吐量提升0.78~42.6倍,延時降低10%~94.8%。
[Abstract]:At present, the application of smart phone mainly depends on the client-server computing mode, only regards the mobile phone as a thin client, sends the perceptual information to the server through the cellular network, which makes the cellular network become the bottleneck. The overall performance of the application is affected. A distributed streaming processing system (MobiStreams.), which can run directly on mobile phones, is proposed. The system can transfer computing tasks from remote servers to local mobile phones, easing the pressure on cellular networks. In addition, the system solves the fault-tolerant problem of deploying DSPS system on smart phone effectively through the design of detection point strategy. Two practical applications deployed in the United States and Singapore are used to evaluate the performance. The results show that migrating from server platform to smart phone platform solves the bottleneck problem of cellular network, increases throughput by 0.7842.6 times, and reduces latency by 10%.
