3D視頻編碼的比特分配及碼率控制研究

【摘要】:與傳統(tǒng)的2D視頻相比,3D視頻通過對立體視覺場景的再現(xiàn),使觀察者體驗到更加自然逼真的場景信息。作為3D視頻處理的關(guān)鍵技術(shù)之一,3D視頻的壓縮對其應(yīng)用具有重要意義。比特分配和碼率控制技術(shù)是3D視頻編碼的重要組成部分。根據(jù)不同的視頻編碼標準和實際應(yīng)用,研究者們提出了許多有效的碼率控制算法,但是這些算法主要針對單個彩色視頻編碼的碼率控制。與單個彩色視頻編碼相比,3D視頻的編碼更為復(fù)雜,從而導(dǎo)致現(xiàn)有的碼率控制算法不適用于3D視頻編碼,無法實現(xiàn)視點間、彩色與深度視頻間的比特分配。因此面向3D視頻編碼的比特分配和碼率控制算法的研究具有重要的意義。為此,本文對3D視頻編碼中的比特分配和碼率控制進行了深入的研究,主要包括以下兩個方面:1)通過對虛擬視點失真的分析,本文提出了一種基于指數(shù)D-R模型的彩色與深度視頻聯(lián)合編碼的比特分配和碼率控制方案。通過最小化虛擬視點的失真,該方案將最佳比特分配的問題轉(zhuǎn)化為一個約束條件下求極值的數(shù)學(xué)問題并通過拉格朗日乘數(shù)法求解。所提出的比特分配及碼率控制方案允許彩色視頻和深度視頻單獨采用碼率控制進行編碼,既簡化計算,又提高了最優(yōu)解的精度。實驗結(jié)果表明,該方案可以較準確地控制比特分配,滿足3D視頻系統(tǒng)的應(yīng)用要求。2)考慮到深度視頻在3D視頻中的重要的地位,從提升虛擬視點質(zhì)量的角度著手,本文提出了一種基于區(qū)域的深度視頻編碼的比特分配和碼率控制算法。首先,提出一種基于虛擬視點失真分析的深度視頻區(qū)域劃分方法,將深度視頻劃分為紋理區(qū)和平滑區(qū);然后,給出了基于區(qū)域的指數(shù)D-R模型和指數(shù)QP-R模型,用以模擬區(qū)域RD性能;最后,基于線性虛擬視點失真模型,實現(xiàn)基于區(qū)域的最佳比特分配和碼率控制方案。實驗結(jié)果表明,所提出的方法能提高深度視頻編碼目標碼率的準確性和繪制的虛擬視點的質(zhì)量。
[Abstract]:Compared with the traditional 2D video, 3D video can make the observer experience more natural and realistic scene information by reproducing the stereo vision scene. As one of the key technologies of 3D video processing, 3D video compression plays an important role in its application. Bit allocation and rate control are important components of 3D video coding. According to different video coding standards and practical applications, many effective rate control algorithms are proposed, but these algorithms are mainly for single color video coding rate control. Compared with the single color video coding, the coding of 3D video is more complex, so the existing rate control algorithm is not suitable for 3D video coding, and can not realize the bit allocation between view point, color and depth video. Therefore, the research of bit allocation and rate control algorithms for 3D video coding is of great significance. Therefore, in this paper, the bit allocation and bit rate control in 3D video coding are deeply studied, including the following two aspects: 1) through the analysis of virtual view distortion, This paper presents a bit-allocation and bit-rate control scheme for color and depth video coding based on exponential D-R model. By minimizing the distortion of virtual view, the problem of optimal bit allocation is transformed into a mathematical problem of finding extreme value under constraint conditions and solved by Lagrange multiplier method. The proposed bit-allocation and bit-rate control scheme allows color video and depth video to be coded separately using bit-rate control, which not only simplifies the calculation but also improves the accuracy of the optimal solution. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme can control bit allocation more accurately and meet the application requirements of 3D video system. 2) considering the important position of depth video in 3D video, we can improve the quality of virtual view. In this paper, a bit allocation and rate control algorithm for deep video coding based on region is proposed. Firstly, a method of depth video region partition based on virtual view distortion analysis is proposed, which divides depth video into texture region and smooth region, then, the exponential D-R model and exponential QP-R model based on region are given. Finally, based on the linear virtual view distortion model, the optimal bit allocation and bit rate control scheme based on the region are realized. The experimental results show that the proposed method can improve the accuracy of the target rate of depth video coding and the quality of the virtual view.
