基于NS-2平臺的立體視頻傳輸仿真技術(shù)及其應(yīng)用

【摘要】:網(wǎng)絡(luò)模擬的原理就是編寫一定的計(jì)算機(jī)程序,以模型模擬網(wǎng)絡(luò),即通過程序來模擬網(wǎng)絡(luò)的運(yùn)行。網(wǎng)絡(luò)模擬是當(dāng)前研究網(wǎng)絡(luò)技術(shù)的一種常用手段。在研究立體視頻傳輸技術(shù)時,考慮到實(shí)際的網(wǎng)絡(luò)傳輸平臺構(gòu)建代價過大,所以,選擇合適的網(wǎng)絡(luò)模擬器進(jìn)行仿真研究是有必要的,也是可行的,而且模擬器可以方便地進(jìn)行測試、評估和驗(yàn)證。網(wǎng)絡(luò)模擬的周期小,成本也很低,在進(jìn)行重復(fù)試驗(yàn)的同時不用擔(dān)心產(chǎn)生額外負(fù)擔(dān),而且可以使研究者更容易借用他人的研究成果,然后在此基礎(chǔ)上致力于研究自己的課題。網(wǎng)絡(luò)模擬有許多其它手段不具備的優(yōu)點(diǎn),例如,新型的網(wǎng)絡(luò)協(xié)議、應(yīng)用、服務(wù)、控制算法等可以先通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)模擬預(yù)測和評估其性能,達(dá)到期望后再應(yīng)用到現(xiàn)實(shí)系統(tǒng)。目前,使用頻率較高的網(wǎng)絡(luò)模擬仿真平臺主要有Matlab,NS-2,Opent等,NS-2有著源代碼公開、免費(fèi)等其它平臺不具備的優(yōu)點(diǎn),這些優(yōu)點(diǎn)可以幫助研究人員很容易地獲取并使用NS-2進(jìn)行研究或開發(fā)。自誕生至今,NS-2的框架也日趨完善,基本涵蓋了對應(yīng)實(shí)際網(wǎng)絡(luò)技術(shù)的各個模塊。在研究立體視頻流的傳輸仿真之前需要借助NS-2構(gòu)建合適的網(wǎng)絡(luò)仿真拓?fù)浣Y(jié)構(gòu),之后在拓?fù)浣Y(jié)構(gòu)基礎(chǔ)上構(gòu)建出適合立體視頻傳輸?shù)姆抡嫫脚_。構(gòu)建的網(wǎng)絡(luò)仿真拓?fù)浣Y(jié)構(gòu)的性能會直接影響到立體視頻傳輸仿真的效果,所以在構(gòu)建網(wǎng)絡(luò)拓?fù)鋾r需要對其性能進(jìn)行仿真測試,如測試傳輸延時、吞吐量、抖動等性能參數(shù),從而不斷調(diào)整拓?fù)浣Y(jié)構(gòu),使得能較好地適用于立體視頻傳輸。目前,多數(shù)針對傳輸進(jìn)行的仿真研究,都未涉及到立體視頻,而研究單通道視頻傳輸仿真也都未考慮視頻本身的特性,只單獨(dú)進(jìn)行視頻數(shù)據(jù)的傳輸仿真,對于傳輸過程中出現(xiàn)的延時過大等問題沒有做更深入的研究。本文在進(jìn)行立體視頻傳輸仿真技術(shù)的研究時,首先充分考慮立體視頻的特性,如GOP中各幀的重要性都不同,并針對這些特性進(jìn)行更深入的研究,有效區(qū)分出幀的重要性等級;然后在重要性等級的基礎(chǔ)上研究了擁塞控制策略,能有效保護(hù)重要性高的數(shù)據(jù),從而有效提高解碼端立體視頻的質(zhì)量。本文的主要工作如下:第一,對網(wǎng)絡(luò)模擬器NS-2的仿真原理進(jìn)行了研究,在Windows xp環(huán)境下構(gòu)建NS-2平臺,并對其進(jìn)行擴(kuò)展研究,從而搭建立體視頻傳輸仿真系統(tǒng);第二,研究NS-2下有線和無線仿真的特征和區(qū)別,分別構(gòu)建基于802.11無線網(wǎng)絡(luò)仿真拓?fù)湎到y(tǒng)和IP網(wǎng)絡(luò)仿真拓?fù)湎到y(tǒng),并實(shí)現(xiàn)SVC傳輸仿真;第三,在IP網(wǎng)絡(luò)環(huán)境下,研究基于內(nèi)容的立體視頻傳輸仿真的實(shí)現(xiàn),在此基礎(chǔ)上提出一種適用于立體視頻傳輸?shù)木W(wǎng)絡(luò)擁塞控制技術(shù)。通過仿真實(shí)驗(yàn)證明,本文所提出的立體視頻幀重要性區(qū)分方法能快速區(qū)分出GOP中各幀的重要性等級,在此基礎(chǔ)上進(jìn)行的網(wǎng)絡(luò)擁塞控制策略能有效保護(hù)重要的數(shù)據(jù)部分,從而提高解碼視頻的質(zhì)量。
[Abstract]:The principle of network simulation is to write a certain computer program to model the network, that is, to simulate the operation of the network through the program. Network simulation is a common method to study network technology. When studying stereo video transmission technology, it is necessary and feasible to select a suitable network simulator for simulation research, considering that the construction cost of the actual network transmission platform is too high. Moreover, the simulator can be easily tested, evaluated and verified. The cycle of network simulation is small and the cost is very low. It is easy for researchers to borrow the research results of others and to study their own subjects on the basis of repeated experiments without worrying about extra burden. Network simulation has many advantages, such as new network protocols, applications, services, control algorithms and so on, which can be predicted and evaluated by network simulation, and then applied to real systems. At present, the network simulation platform with high frequency mainly has the advantages of open source code, free and other platforms. These advantages can help researchers to obtain and use NS-2 for research or development easily. The framework of NS-2 has been improved from birth to now, covering all modules corresponding to the actual network technology. Before studying the transmission simulation of stereoscopic video stream, we need to construct an appropriate network simulation topology with NS-2, and then construct a simulation platform suitable for stereo video transmission on the basis of topology structure. The performance of the network simulation topology will directly affect the effect of stereo video transmission simulation, so the performance of the network topology needs to be simulated and tested, such as transmission delay, throughput, jitter and other performance parameters. Thus, the topology can be adjusted to make it more suitable for stereo video transmission. At present, most simulation studies on transmission do not involve stereoscopic video, and the simulation of single channel video transmission does not consider the characteristics of video itself, and only carries out the simulation of video data transmission alone. No further research has been done on the problem of excessive delay in the transmission process. In this paper, in the research of stereo video transmission simulation technology, the characteristics of stereo video are considered, such as the importance of each frame in GOP is different, and in view of these characteristics, the importance level of frame can be effectively distinguished. Then the congestion control strategy is studied on the basis of importance level, which can effectively protect the data of high importance and improve the quality of stereo video. The main work of this paper is as follows: first, the simulation principle of network simulator NS-2 is studied, and the NS-2 platform is constructed under Windows XP environment, and the extended research is carried out to build a stereo video transmission simulation system. The characteristics and differences of wired and wireless simulation under NS-2 are studied. The topology system based on 802.11 wireless network simulation and IP network simulation topology are constructed, and the transmission simulation of SVC is realized. Thirdly, in the IP network environment, The realization of stereo video transmission simulation based on content is studied, and a network congestion control technology for stereo video transmission is proposed. The simulation results show that the method proposed in this paper can quickly distinguish the importance of each frame in GOP, and the congestion control strategy based on this method can effectively protect the important data part.
