【摘要】:高效率視頻編碼(HEVC, High Efficiency Video Coding)是由ITU-T和ISO/IEC聯(lián)合制定的新一代視頻編碼標(biāo)準(zhǔn),其目的是為了更顯著的提高視頻壓縮的效率。相比較現(xiàn)有的視頻標(biāo)準(zhǔn)H.264/AVC, HEVC能夠在保證相同視覺(jué)質(zhì)量的前提下,減少50%左右的比特率。HEVC的幀內(nèi)預(yù)測(cè)方向由H.264的9種增加到了35種,使得幀內(nèi)預(yù)測(cè)的精度有了顯著的提高。然而,大量的預(yù)測(cè)模式同樣也帶來(lái)了極高的計(jì)算復(fù)雜度。因此,如何降低HEVC視頻編碼復(fù)雜度,已成為視頻編碼研究的熱點(diǎn)。本文主要研究的是HEVC中的幀內(nèi)預(yù)測(cè)算法,具體內(nèi)容如下: 1)針對(duì)HEVC粗略模式選擇(RMD,Rough Mode Decision)和率失真優(yōu)化計(jì)算(RDO,Rate Distortion Optimization)過(guò)程中候選模式個(gè)數(shù)較多的問(wèn)題,本文在分析當(dāng)前預(yù)測(cè)塊參考像素紋理特性的基礎(chǔ)上,利用RMD的最優(yōu)模式與當(dāng)前編碼塊最佳預(yù)測(cè)模式之間的相關(guān)性,提出了一種基于參考像素紋理和RMD最優(yōu)模式特性的快速模式選擇算法,并通過(guò)仿真對(duì)該算法進(jìn)行驗(yàn)證。仿真結(jié)果表明,本文提出的算法在保證編碼性能的前提下,相比較HM10.0中的原始算法,編碼時(shí)間平均減少了8.71%-36.61%。 2)針對(duì)HEVC幀內(nèi)預(yù)測(cè)中角度模式的分布結(jié)構(gòu),本文在此基礎(chǔ)上設(shè)計(jì)了一種新的環(huán)形分布結(jié)構(gòu),該結(jié)構(gòu)更利于闡明角度模式之間的相關(guān)性;然后利用最有可能預(yù)測(cè)模式(MPM,Most Probable Modes)與RMD最優(yōu)模式之間的相關(guān)性,提出了一種基于MPM特性的快速模式選擇算法,該算法能夠自適應(yīng)的減少參與RMD和RDO過(guò)程的預(yù)測(cè)模式個(gè)數(shù)。仿真結(jié)果表明,本文提出的算法在保證編碼性能的前提下,相比較HM10.0中的原始算法,編碼時(shí)間平均減少了29.96%-33.51%。
[Abstract]:High efficiency video coding (High Efficiency Video Coding) is a new generation video coding standard developed jointly by ITU-T and ISO/IEC. Its purpose is to improve the efficiency of video compression. Compared with the existing video standard H.264 / AVC, HEVC can reduce the bit rate by about 50% and increase the intra prediction direction from 9 to 35 with the same visual quality. However, a large number of prediction models also bring high computational complexity. Therefore, how to reduce the complexity of HEVC video coding has become a hot spot in video coding research. In this paper, we mainly study the intra prediction algorithm in HEVC. The main contents are as follows: 1) in order to solve the problem of the large number of candidate modes in the process of HEVC rough mode selection and rate-distortion optimization calculation, this paper analyzes the texture characteristics of the reference pixels in the current prediction blocks. Based on the correlation between the optimal mode of RMD and the best prediction mode of the current coding block, a fast pattern selection algorithm based on the reference pixel texture and the optimal pattern characteristics of RMD is proposed, and the algorithm is verified by simulation. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can reduce the coding time by 8.71-36.61in comparison with the original algorithm in HM10.0 on the premise of ensuring the coding performance. 2) aiming at the distribution structure of angle mode in HEVC intra prediction, this paper designs a new ring distribution structure, which is more helpful to clarify the correlation between angle modes; Based on the correlation between MPMM-Most Probable modesand RMD optimal pattern, a fast pattern selection algorithm based on MPM characteristics is proposed, which can adaptively reduce the number of prediction modes involved in RMD and RDO processes. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can reduce the average coding time by 29.96-33.51 compared with the original algorithm in HM10.0 on the premise of ensuring the coding performance.
