GSM微基站的物理層實(shí)現(xiàn)

【摘要】:作為移動(dòng)通信網(wǎng)絡(luò)的補(bǔ)充,家庭基站能夠?yàn)橛脩?hù)提供更好的語(yǔ)音和數(shù)據(jù)業(yè)務(wù)使用體驗(yàn),近年來(lái)移動(dòng)運(yùn)營(yíng)商和設(shè)備產(chǎn)商也越來(lái)截止重視家庭基站的部署。家庭基站一般由微基站和固定網(wǎng)絡(luò)接入部分組成。其中微基站部分需要支持完整的無(wú)線通信協(xié)議以確保手機(jī)以及其他移動(dòng)設(shè)備能夠正常接入。本文完成了GSM微基站物理層功能的硬件實(shí)現(xiàn),它是GSM家庭基站的主要組成模塊。本設(shè)計(jì)是在Xilinx Spartan6系列的FPGA和TI的C6000系列DSP組成的硬件平臺(tái)上實(shí)現(xiàn)的。其中FPGA完成了GSM系統(tǒng)中的調(diào)制解調(diào)等物理層功能,而DSP則完成了是數(shù)據(jù)鏈路層和網(wǎng)絡(luò)層部分。本文的重點(diǎn)是FPGA端的物理層模塊的硬件架構(gòu)設(shè)計(jì)。整個(gè)物理層設(shè)計(jì)分為接口設(shè)計(jì),下行發(fā)送模塊設(shè)計(jì)和上行接收模塊設(shè)計(jì)。接口是FPGA與DSP通信的接口。DSP通過(guò)該接口向物理層寫(xiě)入要發(fā)送的數(shù)據(jù)以及從物理層模塊讀出接收到的空中數(shù)據(jù),另外也通過(guò)該接口配置射頻的參數(shù)等。下行發(fā)送模塊設(shè)計(jì)主要是GMSK調(diào)制,其中的高斯濾波器使用的是IP核,而I、Q兩路正交信號(hào)的產(chǎn)生則通過(guò)查找表的方式來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn),這部分完成的重點(diǎn)是要確保按照GSM的協(xié)議規(guī)定的幀格式進(jìn)行數(shù)據(jù)的發(fā)送,為此設(shè)計(jì)了專(zhuān)門(mén)的狀態(tài)機(jī)和發(fā)送的架構(gòu)以完成該功能。上行接收模塊主要完成了同步、信道估計(jì)、MLSE均衡器等模塊的硬件架構(gòu)設(shè)計(jì)。其中MLSE均衡是上行接收模塊的主要子模塊,也是本文的設(shè)計(jì)重點(diǎn),該模塊采用了維特比算法來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)以保證硬件開(kāi)銷(xiāo)盡可能小。在設(shè)計(jì)的最后,對(duì)發(fā)送和接收進(jìn)行了相應(yīng)的測(cè)試。發(fā)送部分的頻譜可以很好地滿足GSM協(xié)議的要求,上行接收能夠正確實(shí)現(xiàn)各個(gè)模塊的功能,正確接收移動(dòng)端發(fā)給基站的AB和NB數(shù)據(jù)。功能測(cè)試時(shí),手機(jī)能夠正確接收到微基站發(fā)送的BSIC及BCCH等信息并發(fā)送AB和NB突發(fā)請(qǐng)求接入微基站網(wǎng)絡(luò)。
[Abstract]:As a supplement of mobile communication network, the home base station can provide users with a better experience of voice and data services. In recent years, mobile operators and equipment manufacturers have come to pay more and more attention to the deployment of home base stations.The home base station is generally composed of micro base station and fixed network access part.Microbase stations need to support a complete wireless communication protocol to ensure that mobile phones and other mobile devices can be accessed normally.This paper completes the hardware implementation of the physical layer function of the GSM microbase station, which is the main component module of the GSM home base station.This design is realized on the hardware platform composed of FPGA of Xilinx Spartan6 series and C6000 series DSP of TI.FPGA completes the functions of physical layer such as modulation and demodulation in GSM system, while DSP completes data link layer and network layer.The emphasis of this paper is the hardware architecture design of the physical layer module in FPGA.The whole physical layer design is divided into interface design, downlink transmission module design and uplink receiving module design.The interface is the interface between FPGA and DSP. The interface writes the data to the physical layer and reads the received air data from the physical layer module. In addition, the parameters of RF are configured through the interface.The downlink transmission module is mainly designed as GMSK modulation, in which Gao Si filter uses IP core, and the generation of two orthogonal signals is realized by lookup table.The emphasis of this part is to ensure the transmission of data according to the frame format stipulated by GSM protocol. For this purpose, a special state machine and sending architecture are designed to accomplish this function.The uplink receiving module mainly completes the hardware architecture design of synchronization, channel estimation and MLSE equalizer.MLSE equalization is the main sub-module of the uplink receiving module, and it is also the focus of this paper. The Viterbi algorithm is used in this module to ensure that the hardware cost is as small as possible.At the end of the design, the sending and receiving are tested.The spectrum of the transmission part can meet the requirements of GSM protocol. The uplink receiver can correctly realize the function of each module and receive the AB and NB data from the mobile terminal to the base station correctly.During the function test, the mobile phone can receive the BSIC and BCCH information sent by the microbase station correctly and send the AB and NB burst requests to access the microbase station network.
