【摘要】:通過(guò)利用CANDELS-EGS(Cosmic Assembly Near-infrared Deep Extragalactic Legacy Survey-Extended Groth Strip)場(chǎng)中HST WFC3(Hubble Space Telescope Wide Field Camera 3)F160W高分辨率的觀測(cè)圖像,研究了9個(gè)光譜紅極亮紅外星系的形態(tài)結(jié)構(gòu)特征.發(fā)現(xiàn)這些星系的形態(tài)表現(xiàn)出多樣性(從橢圓到多個(gè)亮核或彌散的結(jié)構(gòu)),如:雙核,氣體橋,雙不對(duì)稱(chēng)體,不規(guī)則或橢圓結(jié)構(gòu).為了定量地研究這些極亮紅外星系的形態(tài),測(cè)量了它們?cè)陟o止光學(xué)波段的形態(tài)參數(shù)(基尼系數(shù)G和矩指數(shù)M20).與近鄰極亮紅外星系相比,高紅移極亮紅外星系的G偏小而M20偏大,表明這些星系的星族分布聚集度小且不對(duì)稱(chēng)性大.基于對(duì)樣本中極亮紅外星系2維面亮度輪廓的擬合,得到這些星系的有效半徑分布在2.4 kpc到5.8 kpc之間,其平均值是(3.9±1.1)kpc.相比較于近鄰相似質(zhì)量的恒星形成星系來(lái)說(shuō),高紅移極亮紅外星系的平均大小要小1到2倍.在類(lèi)似紅移和紅外光度條件下,得出的這些結(jié)果也與其它文獻(xiàn)中給出的結(jié)論相一致.
[Abstract]:By using CANDELS-EGS (Cosmic Assembly Near-infrared Deep Extragalactic Legacy Survey-Extended Groth Strip WFC3 (Hubble) in HST Space Telescope Wide Field Camera 3) F160W images with high resolution, the configuration of 9 spectral red ultraluminous infrared galaxies. These galaxies that form show diversity (from elliptic to a bright nucleus or dispersion), such as: dual structure, gas bridge, double asymmetric, irregular or ellipse structure. In order to quantitatively study the ulirg form, they still in the optical band shape parameters were measured (Gini coefficient and moment G index M20). Compared with the nearest neighbor ultraluminous infrared galaxies with high redshift ultraluminous infrared Galaxy G is small and M20 is large, indicating that these galaxies population distribution and aggregation degree of asymmetry. In the sample ulirg based on 2 dimensional surface brightness The profile fitting, effective radius distribution of these galaxies in the 2.4 KPC to 5.8 KPC, the average value is (3.9 + 1.1) kpc. compared with the nearest neighbor similar quality star forming galaxies, the average size of high redshift ultraluminous infrared galaxies to 1 to 2 times. In a similar red and infrared photometric conditions and these results are also consistent with other literature given in the conclusion.
