【摘要】：正1960年代初,我隨中國城市設(shè)計(jì)研究院程世撫先生代表國家計(jì)委前去廣州,審核該市新建火車站的建筑高度問題,以解決同附近白云機(jī)場飛機(jī)起降的矛盾,廣州市接待我們的人員中有莫伯治先生。此前,我在《建筑學(xué)報(bào)》上翻閱過他撰寫的"廣州海珠廣場規(guī)劃"和"廣州北園酒家"的文章,并耳聞到廣州市林西副市長非常關(guān)心北園酒家這座建筑,每逢風(fēng)雨天都要親自打電話囑咐關(guān)好門窗;莫伯治先生亦知曉程世撫先生是留美學(xué)過城市規(guī)劃和風(fēng)景園林的大專家。因此,我們一見如故,親切地談?wù)撈鸪鞘信c園林的問題,他還專門帶我們參觀了一些廣州傳統(tǒng)園林。我們相識、相知從此開始。1965年我從中國
[Abstract]:In the early 1960s, I went to Guangzhou with Mr. Cheng Shifu of the China Urban Design and Research Institute on behalf of the State Planning Commission to examine the building height of the new railway station in the city, so as to resolve the contradiction with the aircraft taking off and landing at nearby Baiyun Airport.Among the people in Guangzhou who received us was Mr. Mo Bozhi.Earlier, in the Journal of Architecture, I had read his articles on "Guangzhou Haizhu Square Planning" and "Guangzhou Beiyuan Restaurant," and heard that the Vice Mayor of Linxi in Guangzhou was very concerned about the building of Beiyuan Restaurant.Every weatherday, you should call in person to close the doors and windows. Mr. Mo Bozhi also knows that Mr. Cheng Shifu is a major expert in urban planning and landscape architecture.So we talked about the city and gardens at first sight, and he showed us around some traditional gardens in Guangzhou.We met and knew each other from then on.
