[Abstract]:In order to study the influence of ground fissures on soil moisture and surface shear strength in mining area, a field test was carried out to study the subsidence fractures produced by coal mining in well workings. The soil moisture content and the surface shear strength in the vertical fracture direction were measured and the correlation analysis was carried out. The results showed that there was a positive correlation between soil moisture content and the distance between the measured point and the crack along the vertical fracture direction, and the correlation was not significant (P 0.05). The preliminary results showed that the average soil moisture content increased with the increase of the distance from the ground fissure. The occurrence of ground fissures reduces the moisture content of the fracture and its surrounding soil to a certain extent, and there is a positive correlation between the surface shear strength and the distance from the ground fracture. The correlation is not significant (P0.05), and it is found that ground fissures have a certain influence on the surrounding soil structure, that is, the closer to the ground fissures, the lower the shear strength, and the occurrence of the ground fissures reduces the shear strength of the ground fissures and the surrounding soil mass.
