“力矩”一詞的前世今生

【摘要】：首先介紹了古人對"力矩"概念的理解和描述,然后梳理了"力矩"一詞在西方的發(fā)展脈絡,接著又分析了"力矩"一詞在中國產(chǎn)生的歷史和原因.伽利略首先用"momento(意大利語)"一詞表示力對物體轉動效應的概念;1830年,卡特和拉德納引入了"moment of force"這一名詞;1859年,李善蘭與艾約瑟合譯《重學》時曾將"moment"一詞翻譯成"重距積";1904年,中國學者伍光建最早使用"力矩"一詞;1932年,薩本棟編成《物理學名詞匯》,確定將"moment"譯為"矩,轉矩".
[Abstract]:This paper first introduces the ancient understanding and description of the concept of "moment", then combs the development of the word "moment" in the West, and then analyzes the history and causes of the emergence of the word "moment" in China. Galileo first used the word "momento" to describe the effect of force on the rotation of objects; in 1830, Carter and Ladner introduced the term "moment of force"; In 1859, Li Shanlan and Joseph Needham translated the word "moment" into "heavy product", and in 1904, Wu Guangjian, a Chinese scholar, first used the word "moment". In 1932, Sabindong compiled the term "physical nouns" and decided to translate "moment" into "moment, torque".
