分布式集裝箱數(shù)據(jù)中心的綠色層次化管理

【摘要】:近幾年,模塊化數(shù)據(jù)中心(集裝箱數(shù)據(jù)中心)因其高能效可拓展的特點而成為極具前景的IT基礎設施解決方案.預定制的集裝箱數(shù)據(jù)中心不僅可以被部署在傳統(tǒng)倉庫級數(shù)據(jù)中心設施中以支持容量擴展,還能夠被部署在城市/郊外以支持物聯(lián)網(wǎng)數(shù)據(jù)的本地處理.把傳統(tǒng)集中建設和管理的數(shù)據(jù)中心與地理上分布的模塊化數(shù)據(jù)中心結(jié)合起來,能夠更加方便地利用本地綠色能源發(fā)電以及減少數(shù)據(jù)傳輸成本.針對目前涌現(xiàn)的地理上分布的集裝箱式數(shù)據(jù)中心模塊提出了一種新型分層化管理模式,該技術(shù)將分布式集裝箱數(shù)據(jù)中心邏輯上劃分成多個性質(zhì)和功能不同的層級.一個中央調(diào)配系統(tǒng)被用來監(jiān)控每個層級的集裝箱數(shù)據(jù)中心并施加動態(tài)休眠機制以進一步提升數(shù)據(jù)中心的整體效能.小規(guī)模測試實驗結(jié)果顯示分層化管理機制能夠提升12%~32%的數(shù)據(jù)中心整體能效,并且保持較高的服務性能.
[Abstract]:In recent years, modular data center (container data center) has become a promising IT infrastructure solution because of its energy efficiency. Pre-customized container data centers can be deployed not only in traditional warehouse-level data center facilities to support capacity expansion, but also in cities / suburbs to support local processing of Internet of things data. Combining the traditional centralized construction and management data center with the geographically distributed modular data center, it is more convenient to use local green energy to generate electricity and reduce the cost of data transmission. In this paper, a new hierarchical management model for geographically distributed container data center modules is proposed, which divides distributed container data centers into several layers with different properties and functions. A central deployment system is used to monitor container data centers at each level and apply dynamic dormancy mechanisms to further improve the overall performance of data centers. The results of small-scale test show that the hierarchical management mechanism can improve the overall energy efficiency of the data center by 12% and 32%, and maintain high service performance.
