異構(gòu)系統(tǒng)結(jié)構(gòu)力學(xué)計算GPU加速性能分析與應(yīng)用

【摘要】:高性能計算領(lǐng)域利用GPU加速計算已逐漸發(fā)展成為主流應(yīng)用的普遍功能之一。主流結(jié)構(gòu)力學(xué)應(yīng)用ABAQUS支持GPU通用計算,充分發(fā)揮GPU的高性能浮點運算能力與訪存帶寬,提高軟件求解效率。介紹了ABAQUS軟件對GPU加速應(yīng)用的發(fā)展歷程,在上海超級計算中心三種不同的異構(gòu)環(huán)境下,針對實際算例的GPU加速性能進(jìn)行了測試,建立計算效率分析方法,分析GPU加速對求解時間、系統(tǒng)資源調(diào)用、軟件并行效率的影響,并針對采用隱式方法求解百萬量級自由度問題時資源的合理使用提出建議。
[Abstract]:In the field of high performance computing, accelerated computing using GPU has gradually developed into one of the universal functions in mainstream applications. ABAQUS is used in mainstream structural mechanics to support GPU universal computing, which makes full use of the high performance floating-point computing capability and memory access bandwidth of GPU, and improves the efficiency of software solution. This paper introduces the development of the application of ABAQUS software to the acceleration of GPU. In three different heterogeneous environments of Shanghai Supercomputing Center, the acceleration performance of GPU is tested for practical examples, and the calculation efficiency analysis method is established. This paper analyzes the effects of GPU acceleration on solving time, system resource transfer and software parallel efficiency, and puts forward some suggestions for the rational use of resources when solving the problem of millions of degrees of freedom by implicit method.
