【摘要】：在過(guò)去幾十年，隨著IC技術(shù)的高速發(fā)展，世界發(fā)生了翻天覆地的變化�；ヂ�(lián)網(wǎng)的出現(xiàn)使原本偌大的世界變得更小，這一切都得益于因特網(wǎng)和相關(guān)的網(wǎng)絡(luò)設(shè)備給我們帶來(lái)的巨大好處。網(wǎng)絡(luò)處理器是用來(lái)執(zhí)行數(shù)據(jù)處理和轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)的高速可編程處理器。它的結(jié)構(gòu)設(shè)計(jì)使其除了擁有ASIC的高速處理能力，，同時(shí)又有很強(qiáng)大的可編程特性。而網(wǎng)絡(luò)處理器中的PCI總線(xiàn)是一種適合工業(yè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、低成本、高性能的局部總線(xiàn)結(jié)構(gòu)。PCI總線(xiàn)的應(yīng)用范圍十分廣泛，它不僅可用于高、中、低擋的臺(tái)式機(jī)中，而且能夠用于便攜機(jī)甚至是服務(wù)器中。 本文首先對(duì)網(wǎng)絡(luò)處理器的體系結(jié)構(gòu)進(jìn)行了詳細(xì)的介紹，分析了常見(jiàn)的網(wǎng)絡(luò)處理器的功能，重點(diǎn)描述了XDNP網(wǎng)絡(luò)處理器的結(jié)構(gòu)。其次分析了PCI局部總線(xiàn)的協(xié)議，以及它上的數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行交易的過(guò)程，并研究了PCI在網(wǎng)絡(luò)處理器中所起的作用。最后通過(guò)搭建驗(yàn)證平臺(tái)，對(duì)該網(wǎng)絡(luò)處理器中PCI單元的操作過(guò)程進(jìn)行了模塊級(jí)仿真。
[Abstract]:Over the past few decades, with the rapid development of IC technology, the world has changed dramatically. The emergence of the Internet has made the original huge world smaller, all of which benefit from the enormous benefits that the Internet and related network devices bring us. The network processor is a high-speed programmable office that uses data processing and forwarding. Its structure design makes it not only has the high speed processing ability of ASIC, but also has very strong programmable features. While the PCI bus in the network processor is a kind of suitable industrial standard, low cost, high performance local bus structure.PCI bus is widely used, it can be used not only in high, medium, low gear desktop, but also in the network. And it can be used in portable machines or even servers.
In this paper, the architecture of the network processor is introduced in detail, the function of the common network processor is analyzed, the structure of the XDNP network processor is described emphatically. Secondly, the protocol of the PCI local bus is analyzed, and the process of the data transaction on it is also studied. Finally, the role of the PCI in the network processor is studied.
