基于臟頁率預(yù)測的虛擬機(jī)動(dòng)態(tài)遷移研究

【摘要】:虛擬機(jī)動(dòng)態(tài)遷移中,內(nèi)存遷移機(jī)制最復(fù)雜、傳輸內(nèi)容最多,目前多使用預(yù)拷貝方法。由于遷移期間虛擬機(jī)仍在運(yùn)行,內(nèi)存頁會(huì)發(fā)生改變,所以預(yù)拷貝中需要多次傳輸臟頁,高臟頁的頻繁重傳導(dǎo)致遷移效率嚴(yán)重下降。如何降低遷移時(shí)間、減少數(shù)據(jù)傳輸量成為虛擬機(jī)動(dòng)態(tài)遷移中迫切需要解決的問題。 本文針對(duì)虛擬機(jī)動(dòng)態(tài)遷移中的內(nèi)存遷移展開研究。首先,本文提出了一種基于臟頁率預(yù)測的內(nèi)存預(yù)拷貝方法。根據(jù)局部性原理的時(shí)間局部性,高臟頁在短時(shí)間內(nèi)會(huì)被持續(xù)改寫,具有一定的延續(xù)性,滿足自回歸過程的平穩(wěn)性條件。因此本文使用基于時(shí)間序列的自回歸模型AR(n)對(duì)虛擬機(jī)內(nèi)存頁的臟頁率做出預(yù)測,從遷移期間產(chǎn)生的臟頁中識(shí)別出高臟頁,在迭代過程中優(yōu)先傳送臟頁率低的內(nèi)存頁,以避免高臟頁的多次重傳,進(jìn)而獲得更高的遷移效率。 其次,本文在Xen中實(shí)現(xiàn)了基于臟頁率預(yù)測的虛擬機(jī)動(dòng)態(tài)遷移,然后在不同CPU負(fù)載、內(nèi)存負(fù)載和網(wǎng)絡(luò)負(fù)載下對(duì)虛擬機(jī)動(dòng)態(tài)遷移性能做了相應(yīng)測試,并從總遷移時(shí)間、停機(jī)時(shí)間、遷移傳輸數(shù)據(jù)量三個(gè)方面對(duì)實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果進(jìn)行了分析。實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明,基于臟頁率預(yù)測的虛擬機(jī)動(dòng)態(tài)遷移減少了數(shù)據(jù)傳輸量,縮短了遷移時(shí)間,有效提高了虛擬機(jī)動(dòng)態(tài)遷移的效率。 最后,本文將虛擬機(jī)動(dòng)態(tài)遷移技術(shù)應(yīng)用于自主開發(fā)的“信息安全設(shè)計(jì)型實(shí)驗(yàn)平臺(tái)”,設(shè)計(jì)并開發(fā)了名為ISEP的虛擬機(jī)動(dòng)態(tài)遷移系統(tǒng)對(duì)實(shí)驗(yàn)平臺(tái)的虛擬機(jī)集群進(jìn)行資源調(diào)度。ISEP遷移系統(tǒng)優(yōu)化了資源的計(jì)量方法,引入K/N模型避免瞬時(shí)負(fù)載峰值造成頻繁遷移,并綜合最小代價(jià)原則和最佳匹配原則選擇遷移的源虛擬機(jī)和目標(biāo)宿主機(jī),使實(shí)驗(yàn)平臺(tái)的虛擬機(jī)集群同時(shí)達(dá)到負(fù)載均衡和節(jié)能目標(biāo)。
[Abstract]:In the dynamic migration of virtual machines, memory migration mechanism is the most complex and the content of transfer is the most. Since the virtual machine is still running during the migration, the memory pages will change, so it is necessary to transfer dirty pages many times in the precopy. The frequent retransmission of high dirty pages results in a serious decrease in migration efficiency. How to reduce the migration time and reduce the amount of data transfer has become an urgent problem in the dynamic migration of virtual machines. This paper focuses on memory migration in virtual machine dynamic migration. Firstly, a memory precopy method based on dirty page rate prediction is proposed. According to the temporal locality of the principle of locality, the highly dirty pages will be continuously rewritten in a short time, which has a certain continuity and satisfies the stationary condition of the autoregressive process. Therefore, this paper uses AR (n), an autoregressive model based on time series, to predict the dirty page rate of virtual machine memory pages, identify high dirty pages from the dirty pages generated during migration, and give priority to transferring memory pages with low dirty page rate during iteration. To avoid multiple retransmissions of high-dirty pages, thus achieving higher migration efficiency. Secondly, the dynamic migration of virtual machine based on the prediction of dirty page rate is realized in Xen, and the dynamic mobility of virtual machine is tested under different CPU load, memory load and network load. The experimental results are analyzed from three aspects of transferring data. The experimental results show that the dynamic migration of virtual machines based on the prediction of dirty page rate reduces the amount of data transfer, shortens the migration time, and effectively improves the efficiency of the dynamic migration of virtual machines. Finally, the virtual machine dynamic migration technology is applied to the "Information Security Design experiment platform", which is developed by ourselves. A virtual machine dynamic migration system named ISEP is designed and developed to optimize the resource measurement method for the virtual machine cluster of the experimental platform. The K / N model is introduced to avoid frequent migration caused by the instantaneous load peak. Combining the minimum cost principle and the best matching principle, the migrating source virtual machine and the target host are selected, so that the virtual machine cluster of the experimental platform can achieve load balancing and energy saving simultaneously.
