基于IPMI協(xié)議的服務(wù)器主板控制器的設(shè)計(jì)與實(shí)現(xiàn)

【摘要】:隨著計(jì)算機(jī)技術(shù)的日益發(fā)展,不管是企業(yè)還是組織都擁有為數(shù)縱多的服務(wù)器設(shè)備用于信息化服務(wù),成為各項(xiàng)應(yīng)用服務(wù)的核心設(shè)備,其重要性日益凸顯。服務(wù)器能否實(shí)現(xiàn)可靠有效的管理也變得十分重要,現(xiàn)有的服務(wù)器管理方式存在著時(shí)效性差、占用服務(wù)器資源或不能進(jìn)行遠(yuǎn)程管理、群組管理等缺點(diǎn)。因此設(shè)計(jì)一種有效可靠的服務(wù)器管理方式是當(dāng)前的緊迫需要。 主板控制器的設(shè)計(jì)基于IPMI(Intelligent Platform Management Interface,智能平臺(tái)管理接口)規(guī)范實(shí)現(xiàn),通過消息接口以及I2C總線實(shí)現(xiàn)對(duì)服務(wù)器主板上硬件進(jìn)行通信,對(duì)傳感器的門閥值設(shè)置;通過系統(tǒng)接口實(shí)現(xiàn)與服務(wù)器主機(jī)操作系統(tǒng)、系統(tǒng)管理軟件通信,實(shí)現(xiàn)對(duì)服務(wù)器的運(yùn)行狀態(tài)監(jiān)控;通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)接口以及KVM(KeyboardVideo Mouse)技術(shù)實(shí)現(xiàn)對(duì)服務(wù)器的遠(yuǎn)程管理,主板控制器通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)將服務(wù)器的實(shí)時(shí)圖像信息傳送給遠(yuǎn)端PC并進(jìn)行顯示,并且將遠(yuǎn)端PC的鍵盤鼠標(biāo)信號(hào)輸入重定向到服務(wù)器以實(shí)現(xiàn)對(duì)服務(wù)器的遠(yuǎn)程管理。主板控制器上運(yùn)行有嵌入式Web服務(wù)器,方便用戶通過Web瀏覽器進(jìn)行管理,而且KVM用戶端軟件也以Java Applet的形式嵌在Web頁面上供用戶下載運(yùn)行。主板控制器集成在服務(wù)器主板上,采用ARM9微處理芯片并移植嵌入式Linux系統(tǒng),,其運(yùn)行獨(dú)立于服務(wù)器的CPU與操作系統(tǒng)之外,提高了服務(wù)器管理的可靠性與穩(wěn)定性。 通過服務(wù)器主板控制器的設(shè)計(jì),實(shí)現(xiàn)了對(duì)服務(wù)器的遠(yuǎn)程管理,狀態(tài)監(jiān)控,實(shí)現(xiàn)了對(duì)服務(wù)器的帶內(nèi)與帶外管理,而且不占用服務(wù)器系統(tǒng)資源。這種管理方式使得只需少量的管理人員就可以對(duì)擁有上百臺(tái)服務(wù)器的數(shù)據(jù)中心進(jìn)行管理,降低了服務(wù)器管理成本,具有較高的商業(yè)價(jià)值。
[Abstract]:With the development of computer technology, both enterprise and organization have more and more server equipment for information service and become the core equipment of various application services. Its importance is becoming more and more important. It is very important to realize the reliable and effective management of the server, and the existing way of server management has the limitation of time. Poor sex, occupation of server resources or remote management, group management and other shortcomings. Therefore, it is urgent to design an effective and reliable way of server management.
The design of the master board controller is based on the specification of IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface, intelligent platform management interface). Through the message interface and I2C bus, the hardware of the server motherboard is communicated, the threshold of the sensor is set, the system interface is implemented with the server host operating system, and the system management is soft. It realizes the monitoring of the running state of the server; through the network interface and the KVM (KeyboardVideo Mouse) technology, the remote management of the server is realized. The motherboard controller transmits the real-time image information of the server to the remote PC through the network and displays it, and redirects the input of the remote PC keyboard and mouse to the server. In order to achieve remote management of the server, the motherboard controller runs an embedded Web server to facilitate users to manage through the Web browser, and the KVM user side software is embedded on the Web page in the form of Java Applet for the user to download and run. The motherboard controller is integrated on the mainboard of the server, uses a ARM9 microprocessing chip and transplants. The entry Linux system runs independently of the server's CPU and operating system. It improves the reliability and stability of the server management.
Through the design of the server motherboard controller, the remote management and state monitoring of the server have been realized, and the management of the server in and out of band has been realized, and the server system resources are not occupied. This management way makes it possible that only a small number of managers can manage the data center with hundreds of servers and reduce the data center. The management cost of the server has high commercial value.
