基于PowerPC的PXIE總線嵌入式控制器研制

【摘要】:本文通過對PXI Express(PXIE)總線協(xié)議以及嵌入式控制器的研究,完成了PXI Express總線嵌入式控制器的研制。 作為集成測試系統(tǒng)的核心部分,嵌入式控制器的性能直接決定了集成測試系統(tǒng)的性能的高低,尤其是在高性能、高速率的PXI Express總線集成測試系統(tǒng)中,嵌入式控制器的性能更加值得關注。為了充分發(fā)揮PXI Express總線的優(yōu)勢,本文以性能優(yōu)異的基于PowerPC(Performance Optimization With Enhanced RISCPC)架構的MPC8536處理器為核心,制定了高性能的PXI Express嵌入式控制器的總體方案。 本文隨后詳細介紹了計算機通用外設接口以及PXI Express總線接口的設計方案。其中重點介紹了VGA顯示控制器的FPGA邏輯設計方案,該方案采用基于片上網(wǎng)絡系統(tǒng)架構的Qsys設計流程。 在課題的軟件設計部分,,本文分析了PXI Express總線嵌入式控制器的啟動流程以及U-Boot相關的源碼,完成了U-Boot的移植,并在分析完Linux系統(tǒng)移植的方法步驟后使用U-Boot引導了嵌入式Linux系統(tǒng),完成了Linux系統(tǒng)的移植。隨后完成了基于Linux操作系統(tǒng)的PXI Express總線外設模塊驅動開發(fā)。 本文最后完成了各個通用計算機接口的測試以及采用基于網(wǎng)頁服務器的測試方案測試了嵌入式控制器模塊在集成測試系統(tǒng)中訪問并控制外設模塊的功能,并給出了測試結果。測試結果表明PXI Express嵌入式控制器可以完成對PXI Express集成測試系統(tǒng)外設模塊的正常控制,對基于PowerPC處理器的PXIExpress嵌入式控制器的研發(fā)具有一定的參考價值。
[Abstract]:Through the research of PXI Express (PXIE) bus protocol and embedded controller, the PXI Express bus embedded controller has been developed.
As the core part of the integrated test system, the performance of the embedded controller directly determines the performance of the integrated test system. Especially in the high performance and high speed PXI Express bus integrated test system, the performance of the embedded controller is more worthy of attention. In order to give full play to the advantages of the PXI Express bus, the performance of this paper is based on the performance of the embedded controller. The core of the excellent MPC8536 processor based on the PowerPC (Performance Optimization With Enhanced RISCPC) architecture has made the overall scheme of the high-performance PXI Express embedded controller.
This paper then introduces the design of the computer universal peripheral interface and the PXI Express bus interface, which focuses on the FPGA logic design of the VGA display controller, which uses the Qsys design process based on the architecture of the network system on the chip.
In the part of the software design of the subject, this paper analyzes the startup process of PXI Express bus embedded controller and U-Boot related source code, and completes the transplant of U-Boot. After analyzing the method steps of the Linux system transplantation, the embedded Linux system is guided by U-Boot, and the transplantation of Linux system is completed. Then the Linux based on Linux is completed. The PXI Express bus peripheral module driver development of the operating system.
At the end of this paper, the test of the universal computer interface and the test scheme based on the web server are used to test the function of the embedded controller module to access and control the peripherals in the integrated test system, and the test results are given. The test results show that the PXI Express embedded controller can complete the PXI Express The normal control of the peripheral module of the integrated test system has a certain reference value for the research and development of the PXIExpress embedded controller based on the PowerPC processor.
