【摘要】：針對目前大多數(shù)面向指針應(yīng)用程序的線程數(shù)據(jù)預(yù)取方法在預(yù)取距離控制方面的不足,該文提出一種基于緩存行為特征的數(shù)據(jù)預(yù)取距離控制策略。該策略利用指針應(yīng)用程序執(zhí)行時的數(shù)據(jù)緩存特征構(gòu)建預(yù)取距離控制模型,以避免共享緩存污染,降低系統(tǒng)資源競爭,并通過忽略對部分非循環(huán)依賴數(shù)據(jù)預(yù)取平衡幫助線程與主線程間的執(zhí)行任務(wù),提高線程數(shù)據(jù)預(yù)取的時效性。實驗結(jié)果表明,通過該策略控制線程數(shù)據(jù)預(yù)取距離能進一步提高線程預(yù)取性能。
[Abstract]:Aiming at the shortcomings of most thread data prefetching methods for pointer applications in prefetching distance control, this paper proposes a data prefetching distance control strategy based on cache behavior features. In order to avoid the pollution of shared cache and reduce system resource competition, the strategy constructs a prefetching distance control model based on the data cache characteristics of pointer application execution. By ignoring the balance of partial non-cyclic dependent data prefetching to help the thread and the main thread execute tasks, the timeliness of thread data prefetching can be improved. The experimental results show that the performance of thread prefetching can be further improved by controlling the prefetching distance of thread data.
