云計算中虛擬機(jī)動態(tài)遷移技術(shù)的研究

【摘要】:云計算被認(rèn)為是繼PC、互聯(lián)網(wǎng)之后可能再一次改寫IT面貌的“第三次IT革命”,是少見的能夠同時引起互聯(lián)網(wǎng)、IT和電信行業(yè)共同關(guān)注的新領(lǐng)域。這就在于云計算是一個融合了互聯(lián)網(wǎng)商業(yè)模式的、革命性的IT技術(shù)和電信服務(wù)運(yùn)營的新生事物。近年來,云計算的價值進(jìn)一步為業(yè)界所認(rèn)可,在走過最初技術(shù)引入期的喧囂之后,開始進(jìn)入爆發(fā)式增長的階段。云計算的解決方案和具體產(chǎn)品層出不窮,應(yīng)用范圍逐步拓展,并出現(xiàn)了很多成功的商業(yè)應(yīng)用案例。Google、Amazon、IBM微軟等歐美大公司,已經(jīng)走在前面,紛紛轉(zhuǎn)型,研發(fā)和運(yùn)營不同的云計算產(chǎn)品和服務(wù)。 云計算不僅僅是技術(shù)革新驅(qū)動商業(yè)模式變革的產(chǎn)物,也是用戶需求驅(qū)動IT運(yùn)營變革的結(jié)果。從運(yùn)營商的角度來看,云計算中原來承擔(dān)很多任務(wù)的用戶端設(shè)備將逐漸得到解放,變得更加簡單和便捷。通過統(tǒng)一部署支持IT、通信和信息服務(wù)的云平臺及云客戶端設(shè)備和系統(tǒng),各類用戶使用傳統(tǒng)通信和IT服務(wù)及協(xié)同工作、學(xué)習(xí)、娛樂的門檻會顯著降低;而對于用戶而言,其使用資源和享受服務(wù)的成本將越來越低,且方便性大大增強(qiáng)。用戶通過運(yùn)營商提供的寬帶接入服務(wù),可以隨時隨地低成本地接入運(yùn)營商提供的云平臺,享受各種云服務(wù),如大規(guī)模計算、信息處理、應(yīng)用開發(fā)、數(shù)據(jù)存儲和備份以及各細(xì)分市場的應(yīng)用提供和服務(wù)支付等。 在網(wǎng)絡(luò)和IT基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施的分布式環(huán)境下,虛擬化技術(shù)作為云計算的基礎(chǔ)支撐性技術(shù)為云計算的成功運(yùn)營提供了技術(shù)保障。虛擬化技術(shù)實現(xiàn)了資源的邏輯抽象和統(tǒng)一表示,可以對規(guī)模化的用戶服務(wù)需求進(jìn)行精心的匹配,在硬件設(shè)施和網(wǎng)絡(luò)資源的合理分配、軟件應(yīng)用的統(tǒng)一部署、海量數(shù)據(jù)的集中處理及存儲管理、數(shù)據(jù)容錯等方面都有著巨大的優(yōu)勢,大大提升了資源利用率和數(shù)據(jù)處理效率,降低了管理難度和失誤率,從而有效地控制了成本。目前,Xen和VMware是虛擬化服務(wù)的主流供應(yīng)商,并分別提供Xen Live migration和VMware Vmotion虛擬機(jī)動態(tài)遷移工具,以實現(xiàn)虛擬機(jī)的部署和遷移。 虛擬機(jī)的動態(tài)遷移是將一臺服務(wù)器上的虛擬機(jī)實時地遷移至另一臺服務(wù)器上。遷移過程中,除了時間極短的暫停階段,虛擬機(jī)全程不中斷地為用戶提供服務(wù)。因此,虛擬機(jī)的動態(tài)遷移成為了云計算中解決負(fù)載均衡、服務(wù)器維護(hù)及工作環(huán)境遷移等問題的有效方法。但是在現(xiàn)階段,虛擬機(jī)的遷移調(diào)度是手動或半自動化實現(xiàn)的,調(diào)度效率不高,影響虛擬機(jī)的遷移性能。此外,虛擬機(jī)的動態(tài)遷移只進(jìn)行CPU、內(nèi)存、網(wǎng)絡(luò)設(shè)備及I/O等狀態(tài)的遷移,在主機(jī)間通過SAN (storage area network)、NAS (net-work-attached storage)等方式共享存儲設(shè)備而不進(jìn)行磁盤數(shù)據(jù)的遷移。隨著網(wǎng)絡(luò)技術(shù)和應(yīng)用需求的發(fā)展,需要在無法實現(xiàn)共享存儲或廣域網(wǎng)環(huán)境下實現(xiàn)包括磁盤數(shù)據(jù)的虛擬機(jī)全系統(tǒng)實時遷移。 針對云計算的特點和應(yīng)用需求,本文在現(xiàn)有虛擬機(jī)動態(tài)遷移框架的基礎(chǔ)上,對虛擬機(jī)動態(tài)遷移的調(diào)度策略及數(shù)據(jù)遷移算法進(jìn)行了優(yōu)化,并在Xen虛擬化架構(gòu)下實現(xiàn)了包括磁盤數(shù)據(jù)在內(nèi)的虛擬機(jī)全系統(tǒng)遷移。該方案的優(yōu)點主要在于:一、可以監(jiān)控云計算資源的實時使用情況,并自動觸發(fā)遷移,完成高效的負(fù)載均衡;二、實現(xiàn)了虛擬機(jī)磁盤數(shù)據(jù)的遷移,將來可以應(yīng)用于廣域網(wǎng)環(huán)境,增強(qiáng)了云計算的可用性和動態(tài)可擴(kuò)展性。
[Abstract]:Cloud computing is thought to be the " third IT revolution " that could once again override IT ' s face following the PC , which is a new area of common concern to the Internet , IT and telecommunications industries . This is because cloud computing is a new generation that combines Internet business models , revolutionary IT technologies , and telecommunications services . In recent years , cloud computing is a new generation of business applications . Cloud computing solutions and concrete products are evolving and a number of successful business applications have emerged . Many companies , such as Google , Amazon , IBM , and so on , have taken steps to transform , develop and operate different cloud computing products and services .
Cloud computing is not only the product of technological innovation driving business model change , but also the result of user demand driven IT operation change . From the point of view of the operator , the user - side equipment that originally undertook many tasks in cloud computing will gradually be liberated , become more simple and convenient . By unified deployment of cloud platform and cloud client device and system supporting IT , communication and information service , all kinds of users use traditional communication and IT services and work together , learning and entertainment threshold will be significantly reduced ;
With the broadband access service provided by the operator , the user can access the cloud platform provided by the operator at low cost , anytime and anywhere , and enjoy various cloud services , such as large - scale computing , information processing , application development , data storage and backup , application provision and service payment for each segment market , and the like .
In the distributed environment of network and IT infrastructure , virtualization technology provides the technology guarantee for the successful operation of cloud computing . The virtualization technology realizes the logical abstraction and uniform representation of resources , and has great advantages in the rational distribution of hardware facilities and network resources , unified deployment of software applications , centralized processing of massive data and storage management , data fault tolerance , etc . , thus effectively controlling cost . Currently , Xen and VMware are the mainstream vendors of virtualization services , and provide Xen Live migration and VMware Vmotion virtual machine dynamic migration tools , respectively , to realize the deployment and migration of virtual machines .
The dynamic migration of virtual machines is an effective way to solve the problems of load balance , server maintenance and migration of virtual machines .
Aiming at the characteristics and application requirements of cloud computing , this paper optimizes the scheduling strategy and data migration algorithm of virtual machine dynamic migration based on the existing dynamic migration framework of virtual machines , and realizes the virtual machine system migration including magnetic disk data under the Xen virtualization architecture . The scheme has the advantages that : firstly , the real - time usage of cloud computing resources can be monitored , and the migration is triggered automatically , and efficient load balancing is completed ;
secondly , the migration of the virtual machine disk data is realized , the future can be applied to the wide area network environment , and the usability and the dynamic scalability of the cloud computing are enhanced .
