PCM多向Start-Gap算法設(shè)計(jì)與實(shí)現(xiàn)

【摘要】:相變存儲器(Phase Change Memory,PCM)是一種新興的非易失性字節(jié)尋址的存儲器,有望成為DRAM的一種替代產(chǎn)品.PCM相比DRAM具有更高的集成度、更低的靜態(tài)功耗和非易失性優(yōu)點(diǎn).但是,PCM存在有限的寫壽命等缺點(diǎn).磨損均衡是延長PCM壽命的有效方法.現(xiàn)有的PCM磨損均衡算法存在惡意攻擊下壽命明顯降低的問題.本文提出多向Start-Gap算法,從兩個(gè)方面改進(jìn)傳統(tǒng)的基于分區(qū)的Start-Gap算法.它采用動態(tài)映射方式,使得映射關(guān)系無法計(jì)算,從而防止了攻擊.并且,它將分區(qū)到分區(qū)的映射方式改為分區(qū)到全局空間的映射方式,使得一個(gè)邏輯地址可以映射到任何一個(gè)物理地址,從而提高了磨損均衡效果.在PCM模擬器上實(shí)現(xiàn)了多向Start-Gap算法.實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明,該算法有效地提高了磨損均衡效果,使PCM壽命延長了50%,并且能夠有效抵抗惡意攻擊.
[Abstract]:Phase change memory (Phase Change Memory, PCM) is a new kind of nonvolatile memory byte addressing, is expected to become a substitute for.PCM DRAM compared with DRAM has higher integration, lower power consumption and static nonvolatile advantages. However, there are disadvantages such as limited life to write PCM. Wear equalization is an effective method to prolong the lifetime of PCM. PCM algorithm the presence of malicious attacks under life significantly reduced existing problems. This paper proposes multi Start-Gap algorithm, from two aspects to improve the traditional Start-Gap algorithm based on partition. It adopts the dynamic mapping, not computation makes the mapping relations, so as to prevent attacks. Moreover, it the partition to partition mapping to mapping the partition to the global space, makes a logical address can be mapped to a physical address, so as to improve the wear leveling effect in PCM. The multi-directional Start-Gap algorithm is implemented on the simulator. Experimental results show that the algorithm effectively improves the wear balancing effect, prolongs the PCM life by 50%, and is able to effectively resist malicious attacks.
