2001-2002年間南極埃默里冰架水的空間分布與季節(jié)變化

【摘要】:南極冰架水是由海洋—冰架相互作用形成的位溫低于局地冰點的水團,較周圍水體相對低溫、低鹽,是衡量冰架物質(zhì)平衡的良好指示劑;诎拇罄麃啺D锉芎Q笱芯坑媱(AMISOR)2001至2002年的現(xiàn)場觀測資料,本文開展了埃默里冰架水空間分布的季節(jié)變化與輸運特性研究。CTD結(jié)果顯示,冰架水夏季普遍分布在冰架前緣的西部、中部和東部海域,但中、西部海域的冰架水核心溫度更低、分布范圍更廣。錨碇潛標(biāo)結(jié)果顯示,冰架水的分布存在顯著的季節(jié)變化:冬季,冰架水盤踞在冰架前緣71.0°E以西海域和71.5-72.5°E的中部海域,以流出為主要特征;夏季,除了冰架前緣71.5-72.5°E的中部海域仍被冰架水控制,冰架水還出現(xiàn)在冰架前緣73.5°E以東海域,并以流入為主要特征。而冰架水在冰架前緣西部海域的出流強度明顯大于東部海域的入流強度,全年冰架水主要從冰架底部輸出進入普里茲灣占主導(dǎo)。
[Abstract]:Antarctic ice shelf water is a water mass formed by ocean-ice shelf interaction with a potential temperature lower than the local freezing point. It is relatively low temperature and low salt than the surrounding water body. It is a good indicator of the ice shelf material balance. Based on the field observation data of (AMISOR) from 2001 to 2002 under the Emory Ice Shelf Ocean Research Project, Australia, the seasonal variation and transport characteristics of the water distribution in the Emory Ice Shelf are studied in this paper. CTD results show that, Ice shelf water is widely distributed in the western, central and eastern waters of the ice shelf in summer, but the core temperature of the ice shelf water in the western sea is lower and the distribution range is wider. The results show that the distribution of ice shelf water has obvious seasonal variation: in winter, ice shelf water is located in the sea area west of 71.0 擄E and in the middle of 71.5-72.5 擄E, with outflow as the main feature. In summer, in addition to the central sea area of 71.5-72.5 擄E, which is still controlled by ice shelf water, ice shelf water also appears in the sea area east of 73.5 擄E, and the main feature is inflow. The outflow intensity of ice shelf water in the western sea area of the ice shelf is obviously higher than that in the eastern sea area, and the ice shelf water is mainly exported from the bottom of the ice shelf to Prydz Bay in the whole year.
