2011年冬季南極普里茲灣及其鄰近海域水文特征與水團(tuán)分析

【摘要】:利用澳大利亞在南極戴維斯站施放的17頭南象海豹攜帶的小型CTD記錄器收集的2011-02—06期間的溫、鹽度剖面資料,研究了普里茲灣及其鄰近海域冬季水文結(jié)構(gòu)及其水團(tuán)特征,結(jié)果表明:冬季溫、鹽、密度垂直結(jié)構(gòu)變化顯著,溫度變化呈現(xiàn)逆溫層(或雙逆溫層)結(jié)構(gòu),并隨著海面降溫和結(jié)冰析鹽過程的加劇,海水上下層混合加強(qiáng),逆溫和鹽度、密度躍層由強(qiáng)變?nèi)?直至水體結(jié)構(gòu)變得垂直均一;海水密度變化則主要取決于鹽度。研究海域共有7個(gè)水團(tuán)組成,它們是普里茲灣表層水、普里茲灣次表層水、普里茲灣陸架水、普里茲灣冰架水和普里茲灣底層水,以及南極繞極深層水和逆溫躍層水等,并給出了各個(gè)水團(tuán)的特征指標(biāo)。
[Abstract]:Using the temperature and salinity profile data collected from a small CTD recorder carried by 17 southern elephant seals at Davis Station, Antarctica, during 2011-02-06, the winter hydrological structure and water mass characteristics of the Prydz Bay and its adjacent sea areas were studied. The results showed that the vertical structure of temperature, salt and density changed significantly in winter, and the temperature change presented the structure of inversion layer (or double inversion layer). The density cline changes from strong to weak, until the water structure becomes vertical homogenization, and the variation of seawater density mainly depends on salinity. The study area consists of seven water masses, namely, the Prydz Bay surface water, the Prydz Bay subsurface water, the Prydz Bay shelf water, the Prydz Bay ice shelf water and the Prydz Bay bottom water, as well as the Antarctic circumpolar deep layer water and the reverse thermocline water, The characteristic indexes of each water mass are given.
