Research of air distribution modes plays an important role in increasing the efficiency of stoker boilers. Taking a chain grate stoker for example, experiments are carried out on this stoker and unit furnace, together with numerical simulation, in order to research air distribution characteristics for different coal types. Three problems are studied as follows. The first problem is related to transverse air flow distribution. Through cold test of air distribution on the stoker bined with numerical simulation and hot operation test, problems of air system are found. And feasible suggestions are put forward for the modification of wind box. 上海交通大學(xué)碩士學(xué)位論文IVThe second problem is concerning the influence on bustion characteristics by longitudinal air distribution. Three experiments are conducted on the chain grate stoker under uniform, front-enhanced and rear-enhanced modes. And the laws of H2、O2、CH4、CO、CO2 and temperature along the length of grate are obtained. Then, the method of time simulating space is adopted in order to study bustion characteristics of dongli #2and shenmu coal under different air distribution modes in the unit furnace. The last one is the influence on the generation of NOx by longitudinal air distribution. The amount of NOx in tail flue gas of the chain grate stoker is measured and the generation law of NOx under different air distribution modes is attained. The results show that for this stoker boiler, when operated under high load, rear-enhanced air distribution mode can increase the boiler efficiency and decrease NOx bined with double herringbone arch.
