碳硅石(SiC)以捕擄晶形式產(chǎn)于玄武質(zhì)和金伯利質(zhì)巖石中,為揭示深部地幔的C-H-O相互作用提供了新的窗口.碳硅石僅能穩(wěn)定于氧逸度(fO2)<?IW-6的條件,而巖石圈地幔及相關(guān)熔體卻更加氧化.本研究發(fā)現(xiàn)玄武質(zhì)火山碎屑巖和金伯利巖中的碳硅石包含由Si0+Fe3Si7±FeSi2Ti±CaSi2Al2±FeSi2Al3±CaSi2構(gòu)成的金屬包裹體,其形態(tài)特征表明它們是捕獲的熔體.碳硅石還包含具有結(jié)晶學(xué)取向且附存H2+CH4±CO2±CO的氣體空洞.這些觀察表明碳硅石結(jié)晶于含有還原性C-H-O組分的金屬熔體(Si-Fe-Ti-C±Al±Ca),富集于巖石圈-軟流圈、地殼-地幔這樣的界面.當(dāng)鎂鐵質(zhì)-超鎂鐵質(zhì)巖漿被持續(xù)注入H2+CH4時(shí),巖漿逐步被還原,直至硅化物熔...
