幾何形態(tài)測量學在古生物學研究中的應用概況

【摘要】:幾何形態(tài)測量學(Geometric morphometrics)是一種研究生物形狀變異的測量學研究方法。形態(tài)測量學中較早出現(xiàn)了傳統(tǒng)形態(tài)測量學,而后革命性演變出只針對形狀差異的幾何形態(tài)測量學。幾何形態(tài)測量學因定量化和描述客觀準確,在生物學上得到廣泛應用,后被引入到了古生物學研究中,同樣發(fā)揮了極其重要的作用并被不斷發(fā)展。本文從幾何形態(tài)測量學方法以及傳統(tǒng)測量學方法在古生物中應用歷史和應用方向兩個角度對其在古生物學研究中的應用概況進行介紹,并對應用前景做展望。
[Abstract]:Geometric Morphology (Geometric morphometrics) is a kind of measuring method to study biological shape variation. The traditional morphometry appeared earlier in morphometry, and then revolutionized geometric morphometry, which only focused on shape difference. Geometric Morphology has been widely used in biology because of its quantification and accurate description. It has been introduced into the study of paleontology and has also played an important role in its development. In this paper, the general situation of application in paleontology is introduced from the point of view of the application history and application direction of geometric morphology measurement method and traditional surveying method in paleontology, and the prospect of its application is also prospected.
