【摘要】：我校已開展結晶學與礦物學雙語教學多年,但一直沒有配套的《結晶學與礦物學》英文教材,市面上已有的專業(yè)英語教材并不適合結晶學與礦物學單門學科的英語教學,而外文原版教材難度較大且使用率和參與性較低。因此,本文通過明確教材的定位和應用背景,分析現有地質類專業(yè)英語教材的現狀,闡述了編寫《結晶學與礦物學》英文教材的必要性。本文對國外結礦教材進行內容概括與簡單評價后,認為可用外國原版教材內容做素材,進一步篩選、改編,增加課后題,編寫成為新的教材。在教材編寫中,遵循一定要求篩選素材,從語言的角度對專業(yè)詞匯和語法的特點進行分析和舉例,得出記憶單詞的方法和科技文寫作的表達方式規(guī)律。在編寫教材后,得出以下四點思考:(1)以高凌飚教授的六大維度綜合分析此教材,可看出《結晶學與礦物》英文教材最大特色是一本以英語為媒介進行知識內容的教學和英語能力培養(yǎng)的教材,知識內容都選自英文原版教材,對中文教材進行了補充,語言技能上,培養(yǎng)學生的專業(yè)英語能力,提高閱讀、寫作水平。(2)學科教育上,后期增加了環(huán)境礦物學、礦物的演化方面的內容,同時介紹了礦物學研究的理論方法以及以英文描述礦物的表達方式,強化了學科意識,深化前期中文課程。(3)此教材使學生在學習過程有較強參與性,提高教學效率。(4)從適用人群、編寫宗旨、涉及的知識內容、教材結構、課文篇幅五個方面,對比分析高等教育出版社出版的《地質學專業(yè)英語》、地質出版社出版的《地球科學專業(yè)英語》與《結晶學與礦物學》英文教材三本教材,得出本英文教材更適用于本科生礦物學專業(yè)英語的學習,也可供地質學學生作為參考書查閱英文的礦物描述、礦物縮略詞等。
[Abstract]:The bilingual teaching of Crystallography and Mineralogy has been carried out in our school for many years, but there has been no complete English textbook of Crystallography and Mineralogy. The English teaching materials for specialized English are not suitable for the English teaching of the single subject of Crystallography and Mineralogy. But the foreign language original edition teaching material is difficult and the utilization rate and the participation is low. Therefore, by defining the orientation and application background of the textbook, this paper analyzes the present situation of the present English teaching materials for geological majors, and expounds the necessity of compiling the English textbook "Crystallography and Mineralogy". After summarizing and appraising the contents of the foreign ore-binding textbooks, the author thinks that the original foreign textbooks can be used as the materials, further screening, adapting, adding after-class questions, and compiling new textbooks. In the course of compiling the textbook, according to certain requirements, the author analyzes and exemplifies the characteristics of professional vocabulary and grammar from a linguistic point of view, and obtains the methods of memorizing words and the rules of expression of scientific and technological writing. After compiling the textbook, the following four considerations are obtained: (1) synthetically analyzing the textbook with the six dimensions of Professor Gao Ling Biao. It can be seen that the most characteristic of the English textbook Crystallography and Minerals is a textbook in which English is used as a medium for the teaching of knowledge content and the cultivation of English ability. The knowledge content is selected from the original English textbook, which complements the Chinese textbook. In terms of language skills, we should train students' professional English skills, improve their reading and writing skills. (2) in the later period of education, the contents of environmental mineralogy and mineral evolution have been increased. At the same time, this paper introduces the theoretical methods of mineralogical research and the expression of minerals in English, strengthens the subject consciousness and deepens the Chinese curriculum in the early stage. (3) this textbook makes the students more participatory in the learning process. (4) improve teaching efficiency. (4) from five aspects: applicable crowd, writing aim, knowledge content, teaching material structure, text length, Comparative analysis of three textbooks of Geology English published by higher Education Press, Geoscience English by Geology Publishing House and Crystallization and Mineralogy by Geology Publishing House, It is concluded that this English textbook is more suitable for the study of mineralogical major English for undergraduates, and can also be used as reference books for geological students to consult the mineral description, mineral acronyms and so on.
