南海轉(zhuǎn)換斷層成因機制及對南海擴張的啟示

【摘要】:轉(zhuǎn)換斷層是揭示邊緣海盆地演化的一把鑰匙,但其成因機制一直都是地質(zhì)科學研究的難點和熱點;诟叻直媛屎5讟嬙斓孛病⑴璧匕l(fā)育幾何學結構、重磁異常、磁條帶分布樣式、莫霍面埋深、海底熱流和南海北部地震剖面等資料對比,并結合區(qū)域地質(zhì)背景、板塊重建、動力學來源,重新厘定了南海海盆轉(zhuǎn)換斷層和鄰區(qū)走滑斷層的分布,尤其是其走向,統(tǒng)一歸結為NNE向。另外,從轉(zhuǎn)換斷層走向的角度入手,提出了邊緣海盆地擴張的新模式,并修正了前人對新生代南海的板塊重建方案。南海海盆真正的轉(zhuǎn)換斷層方向應該是NNE向,并不是傳統(tǒng)上認為的NW向。NNE向轉(zhuǎn)換斷層及南海的擴張,可能為繼承鄰區(qū)裂解陸緣走滑斷層方位的模式。NNE向轉(zhuǎn)換斷層實際上就是在南海陸架中廣泛分布的NNE向大型右行走滑斷層,也是華南地塊上一系列NNE向右行走滑斷裂在海上的自然延伸,進而提出南海轉(zhuǎn)換斷層實際上是繼承了鄰區(qū)陸地上大型走滑斷層的走向。這種模式并不是類似于正常洋中脊那樣的正向擴張,而是一種斜向擴張,轉(zhuǎn)換斷層不垂直于擴張中心。
[Abstract]:Transformation fault is a key to reveal the evolution of marginal sea basin, but its genetic mechanism is always a difficult point and hot spot in geological science. Based on the high-resolution submarine tectonic landform, the basin develops geometric structure. Gravity and magnetic anomalies, distribution patterns of magnetic stripes, depth of Moho surface, submarine heat flow and seismic profile of the northern South China Sea are compared, combined with regional geological background, plate reconstruction and dynamic sources. The distribution of the transition fault and the strike-slip fault in the adjacent area of the South China Sea basin has been redefined, especially its strike, which can be attributed to the NNE direction. In addition, starting from the angle of the transition fault strike. A new model of marginal basin extension is proposed, and the former plate reconstruction scheme for the Cenozoic South China Sea is revised. The true transformation fault direction of the South China Sea basin should be the NNE direction. It is not traditionally thought of as the NW. NNE trending transition fault and the South China Sea extension. In fact, the NNE trending transition fault is a large NNE strike slip fault widely distributed in the South China Sea shelf. It is also a natural extension of a series of NNE right strike-slip faults on the South China block. It is suggested that the South China Sea transform fault actually inherits the strike of the large strike slip fault on the adjacent land. This model is not like the normal mid-ocean ridge, but an oblique extension. The transition fault is not perpendicular to the spreading center.
