TopMetal2Minus芯片中單引腳溫度傳感器的設(shè)計

【摘要】:TopMetal2Minus是我校PLAC實驗室繼TopMetall之后的又一款獨立自主研發(fā)的像素探測器芯片,其基本原理與TopMetall相同,利用裸露在空氣中的頂層金屬Topmetal搜集電荷,并將搜集到的電荷轉(zhuǎn)換成電壓信號讀出。由于TopMetall芯片內(nèi)沒有設(shè)計溫度測量模塊,對芯片進行測試時,無法實時檢測芯片內(nèi)部溫度。針對這一不足之處,同時從芯片資源節(jié)約的角度考慮,設(shè)計TopMetal2Minus芯片時,加入單引腳溫度傳感器。本文首先介紹了溫度傳感器的發(fā)展及國內(nèi)外研究狀況,然后從理論上分析了溫度傳感器的工作原理,并提出了基于TopMetal2Minus芯片的溫度傳感器的性能指標參數(shù)。重點介紹了單引腳溫度傳感器子模塊的設(shè)計,包括電源開關(guān)控制電路,溫度檢測電路,斜坡發(fā)生器、電壓比較器以及偏置電路的設(shè)計。最后結(jié)合單引腳溫度傳感器的時序仿真結(jié)果再次闡述該電路的工作原理。該溫度傳感器基于XFAB 0.35μm CMOS工藝設(shè)計,僅消耗TopMetal2Minus芯片的一個輸入/輸出引腳,以脈寬形式輸出,脈寬寬度攜帶溫度信息,版圖面積0.0024mm2。提取寄生參數(shù)進行后仿真,溫度測量精度0.5℃,室溫下,3.3V電源供電時,動態(tài)功耗210μW、靜態(tài)功耗180pW。性能指標均能滿足TopMetal2Minus芯片的需求。
[Abstract]:TopMetal2Minus is another independently developed pixel detector chip after TopMetall in our school's PLAC laboratory. Its basic principle is the same as that of TopMetall, which uses the top metal Topmetal exposed in the air to collect electric charges. The charge collected is converted into voltage signal and read out. Because there is no temperature measurement module in the TopMetall chip, the internal temperature can not be detected in real time when the chip is tested. In view of this shortcoming and considering the resource saving of the chip, a single pin temperature sensor is added to the design of the TopMetal2Minus chip. In this paper, the development of temperature sensor and the research situation at home and abroad are introduced, then the working principle of temperature sensor is analyzed theoretically, and the performance index parameters of temperature sensor based on TopMetal2Minus chip are put forward. The design of one-pin temperature sensor sub-module, including power switch control circuit, temperature detection circuit, slope generator, voltage comparator and bias circuit, is introduced in detail. Finally, the working principle of the circuit is explained by the simulation results of the single pin temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is designed on the basis of XFAB 0.35 渭 m CMOS process, consumes only one input / output pin of TopMetal2Minus chip, outputs in the form of pulse width, carries temperature information in pulse width, and has a layout area of 0.0024 mm 2.
